Frozen pies, fresh pies, frozen apple cider to take home and the best fresh donuts to go with apple cider. Their other menu items are okay. Sandwiches and soup, you can find anywhere. But the treasure is their baked goods and cider.

this is a branch of the Fennville operation, and if you cannot get to the mother ship, do go here while in Holland. Take home a pie or two, fresh or frozen, you will not regret it.

Visited for the first time a year ago and loved it. Today we drove into Holland just to go to Crane's because we were nearby. They did not disappoint! The owners were working the counter today and they were very sweet. The service was wonderful. The food was as delicious as we remembered. I had the City Cristo and the... More

This downtown eatery is an extension of the original Cranes Orchard and Pie Pantry in Fennville. The downtown location offers soups, sandwiches and delectable desserts! They also offer something the Fennville location does not, soda! If you're looking for a cozy, local eatery with delicious food, Cranes in the City is your place!

Just order the City Cristo sandwich & thank me later. Or anything else on their fabulous menu. Such a treat in the cutest college town in America. #yum

We stopped in for a quick bite after a day at the beach. I had a slice of cherry pie and a cappuccino, both excellent. The crust, balance of sour and sweet, just right! My husband had the Sloppy Joe and was underwhelmed. I saw they had a great assortment of salads and other delicious looking sandwiches (after I ordered)... More

I had the strawberry rhubarb, and my husband the blueberry streusel. Both were huge portions. So fresh. Loved the pie crust!

The place wasn't bad. Nothing special either. I would go back there for lunch but I wouldn't say I'd go there every week. It's a good place to go for a nice little lunch.

We always make a point of going to Crane's when we vacation in Holland (second time this week!). The City Cristo sandwich is fabulous! And you can't pass up the home made pie for dessert!

My wife and I stopped in Crane's in the City for lunch on a recent pleasure trip to Holland. The restaurant is an outpost of the Crane's Restaurant and Winery in Fennville, which is known for its pies. The place is fairly small with only a handful of tables inside and a couple outside. I suspect locals probably order things... More

This restaurant opened July, 2010 in the downtown area. Everything is homemade with local ingredients; desserts made with Michigan fruit. Wonderful!
