My wife and I stopped in Crane's in the City for lunch on a recent pleasure trip to Holland. The restaurant is an outpost of the Crane's Restaurant and Winery in Fennville, which is known for its pies. The place is fairly small with only a handful of tables inside and a couple outside. I suspect locals probably order things... More

We both got the most popular of the house:City Cristo. Superb blend of a sweet bread, turkey, cheese and sauce, all grilled. Served with a bag o' chips and a pickle. They make their own pies, cobblers and other baked goodies. Our raspberry rhubarb was yummy. This is an order at the counter, bring it to the table casual place.

The food is delicious, but prices are high for the amount of food you get. Great location and displays of pies and desserts! Menu has food variety of choices and good kids menu. Service was a little slow. Has the feel of a small restaurant in a big city in small town Holland.

I used my phone, in Holland, MI, to Google, "Best Cheery Pie in Holland, MI". Crane's popped up. My wife and I found them and ordered a sandwich, and of course, a piece of cherry pie. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Google site showed they closed at 6pm, so we got there early. After we ordered our... More

Located in downtown Holland, Crane's in the City is a great place to stop in for a donut and cider or a sandwich and soup.

Cranes is our p;lace to go for that special desert for guests or just the family. Their cherry cobbler is my favorite but all are good. Good place for a take out sandwich too.

We stopped for a late weekday lunch, enjoyed the wonderful beef and barley soup and some cherry pie. Cranes is located on Holland's lovely main street (8th) and is not to be missed!

Nice place to pop into for a quick lunch or a snack. Great baked goods especially the pies and donuts. Best place for fresh apple cider in the fall. A little bit of country in the city!
