We can't say enough good about the pub. Not only was the food great, but Ali our server made it even better. Can't wait until we go back in the Spring for the tulip festival and eat here again,

We went there looking for a dirty martini and were not disappointed. We sat at the bar after a local couple noticed we were waiting for a table and were standing and offered us their stools as they were leaving.. I had a burger, my...spouse chicken. The service was great, food was above average, atmosphere was nice. I gave it four stars only because the food was not exceptional. I may be somewhat picky so I would recommend giving this restaurant a try.More
I’d give this visit zero stars if I could.. reception staff unbelievably rude. We showed up early at 4:50 for a dinner with 5 pm reservations. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant in a solitary room. The entire place was empty- our...server was the only bright spot. The food - a sirloin completely under cooked and my pretzel chicken must have come straight from a prepared box from Sam’s club or GFS. Unbelievable waste of money. Don’t waste your time or dollars. After 10 years, we will not ever Go back.More
Let me start by saying, our dirty martinis were PERFECT! The restaurant is warm and cozy, and we were greeted warmly by a young host. Our waitress, Kaylee was extremely delightful. We like to share because we usually over-eat, and she made us feel comfortable...and even made a few suggestions. The Ribeye was juicy and seasoned well. I did ask for steak sauce, but I like the flavor with the little bit of fat. Our Ceasar was fresh and crunchy with a nice crunch of red onion, our baked potato was soft and delicious. Oh, we started with an artichoke dip served with fresh, soft pita, and some other chips of some sort that were delicious. Kaylee's hospitality was enough. She let us enjoy our meal at a slow, wonderful pace, never overbearing, and giving us enough attention to make sure everything was to par. We asked for a few samples of beer and decided on a local blonde ale. The draft beer was scrumptious. We are picky about the drafts. We are from Chicago and dined in Sagautuk which most places were sub-par, views were great, but service was lacking too. I'm glad we found this gem of a place. My first time in MI and I will definitely be back to dine at salt and pepper. I hope Kaylee will be there....I can't wait to try other items on the menu. Thank you for a wonderful evening.More
The decor is nice and casual, the service was average, and the food was average. By looking at the menu, the entrees are described as something special, but they are not. I am retired but have been in the Foodservice Industry for 48 years and...this for me/us is one of those restaurants that you try once but may not be on your list to go back.More
We held an Anniversary Party in their Shaker's Pub. It was wonderful! Food was great, venue was perfect for the 15 of us, and the staff was amazing! A special shout out to Katie, our server. She was amazing!
We had a great dinner here. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Salads were fresh and dressing tasted homemade. There was a wine special (bottle of Cabernet for $10.50) which was great as it complimented our meal. Our waitress, Katie was excellent. Atmosphere nice. Would...definitely return.More
We were there for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed with anything! We started out with the soft pretzel. It came with a side of spicy mustard and beer cheese. The Boursin Sirloin and Tenderloin Medallions got rave reviews. The Coconut Shrimp was...the best I've ever had! Even the hamburger got a big thumbs up! Our service was great. It was at 5pm on a Friday and after eating there I know why!More
Burger was delicious. Spicy chicken sandwich was also very good and served with kettle chips. You can upgrade and get waffle fries. Ordered martinis. Nothing special at all. Actually if I was to rate the cocktails I was give it a one. I am thinking...it is more of a wine and beer establishment.More
Had high expectations based on reviews and we weren’t disappointed! Great outdoor seating area and excellent food and service! We had the chicken gyro and brick house burger and spinach artichoke cheese and chicken soup - all were delicious- we recommend highly!! Also recommend the...New Holland ichabod pumpkin aleMore
Stopped in as we drove through Holland. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. We had the Perch Tacos and Celebracion Salad. Would recommend for sure.
Food at this place is fantastic. We had the artichoke dip appetizer, salmon risotto, gouda burger and Market salad and all were excellent. The patio was cute. Diamond in the rough for strip mall restaurants. With the pandemic labor shortage, it looks like they had...to shorten their hours on certain days. However, the staff they have there are great. Highly recommendMore
Excellent food and great service! My husband and I both had the steak and avocado Caesar salad. The steak was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The salad was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were delicious.
A traditional American restaurant. We had Prime Dip, Gouda Burger, Nachos & Celebracion. Taste above average.
Great place for dinner our first night in town. Cute ambiance inside and on the patio. Great staff and food selection. We tried the Italian panini and rib eye. And the chips with homemade dip was the best. Will return
