Whenever possible I recommend this place. You are greeted with a beautiful and heavenly smile and you can (or rather you must) choose the Soup Bar where you can try 3 delicious kind of soups, whatever your dinner choice is going to be generous and splendid. For drink I recommend you that try a draft local beer, whatever you choose... More

After being seated promptly, our waitress attended to our needs efficiently and pleasantly. I enjoyed the Taco Grande Salad with beef along with the typical taco salad components. It was a great place for the cousins to catch up with one another - not too noisy.

My 2 person party visited on a weekday at 1:30. The pub wasn't crowded and we were seated without a wait. After that, we waited a long time for everything else. 5 minutes to be greeted by wait staff. Another 5 for the drinks. 20 minutes for the food-with no more visits by waitstaff for refills/checking on the food. I... More

We were visiting Holland for lunch and decided on the 8th Street Grille. Our visit started out fine and our food tasted ok but we had to wait a considerable amount of time for our check after we finished eating. Then we had to wait again for our server to pick up our payment. Then another long wait for our... More

8th Strret Grill offers numerous interesting choices as well as daily specials but I love the soup bar so much that I rarely look at the menu. There are always 3 homemade soups that rotate daily and often within any given day. The constant is their chicken corn chowder which is amazing and pretty much a meal in itself. Because... More

This place offers excellent value for one's money. The food is wonderful. We particularly enjoy the soup bar. For lunch, it's economical, pleasant and easy to access. The menu has plenty of variety and the bar is very well stocked with beers of all sorts. They are accommodating making visitors feel very welcome and appreciated. The building is historic as...
