Went here on New Years Eve for the first time and we were seated extremely impressed. The food was phenomenal, the waitstaff was kind and friendly and prices were very fair! We go up to silver lake several times a year and we will now be stopping by for lunch or dinner. If you’re in Hart- this is the place to be

Good Mac and Cheese, could use some more outdoor seating. The ordering was different, you placed your order at the counter and they brought your food to you. Worked well, although it was a bit slow.

Stopped here after going to the dunes and it was good, friendly staff, they were able to accommodate our larger group, you have to place your food and drink order with the Hostess or the bartender, get your own silverware and napkins and they bring your food. No waitstaff. A little different but the food was good.

The food was a mixed bag, some was great (natty chicken and Ruben) while others left a bit to be desired (bland brisket cheesesteak and runny queso dip). What’s worse was that we waited 55 minutes for our meals on a week night. The pre-payment and added gratuity are the only thing that kept us from walking out. There is ZERO service. No one is making sure appetizers come out first or refilling water or other beverages. Absolutely disappointing experience.

I was surprised that since my last visit the brewery went from full service to self service. I can support self service under some circumstances. In this circumstance the price is 20% higher and the QR code app that you use to pay wants to add a 20% tip. It becomes difficult to change the tip and won’t accept no tip. What would you pay a 20% tip for.? You have to get up and find your own plastic “silverware” and paper PFAS bowl. How would you ever get a glass of water? That is not on the menu. If you lower your tip your food mysteriously takes forever to come out. The result is you spend you “fine dining” experience on your phone figuring out how to order and not get ripped off. That is best done be eating somewhere else. That is what I will do.
The beer is ok. Their beer tends to be heavier malt tasting European recipes which is fine if you like that. That is not my favorite but I like fresh tap beer. Now that I had the high price, high tip no service cell phone experience I know I won’t be going there again.

This is a bummer, good beer, good food…but no service.
Everything is order from your phone, refills from your phone condiments not at the table plastic ware not at the table. Employees standing everywhere, but none of them at your table. Come on man, I spent the entire meal on my phone ordering food and refills and getting my own napkins. Really? This is a full sit-down service priced place for you doing all the work. No thank you! COVID or no COVID, people don’t want to go out and do all the work themselves. Meh!!

We waited 50 min for order to be delivered (this is not an approximation); order was missing an item (juice); we were charged for that item (3-4$); the person behind the counter (owner/co-owner from the demeanor) was considerably more enthusiastic when I went to pay than when I ordered. I just wanted out so didn't bother arguing over 4 dollars. Of course, this establishment didn't get any tips from us nor I think in returning.

Walk in, grab a menu, find a table, place order at counter, find napkin and silverware in the middle of the room then wait at your table. We ordered great walker stout and bartender brought a different beer. He said he brought what the girl at the counter entered. We ordered 2 appetizers. They arrived about 15 minutes apart. Loaded fries were room temperature and soggy. Never returning.

Don't even waste your time or money. I'm going to keep this short and sweet. You have to order with your phone and that's no big deal but you have to get your own plastic where napkins and water. They bring your food out and never check on you and are never back. If you need anything, you're screwed. The good was high priced and mediocre at best. We cleaned our table and left with out anyone saying anything to us. They make you pay before everything including automatic tip... Who does the tip go to? We did all the work lol what a joke. We won't be back. The staff couldn't give 2 shtts about anything. Do better

Was excited to try this place out as it is right around the corner from our hotel. Food took 53 mins to get to get to us...that was disappointing. However, once we received our food it was perfectly cook and hot! The burgers were amazing! We weren't disappointed! If you have the time to wait, check this place out!

We wanted to eat here, but they didn’t open until noon. After waiting across the street and not having good luck, we just left and waited here for them to open. Glad we did. We got pretzels, the Reuben, nachos, and kids chicken tenders. All the food was very good. A bit pricey, but don’t regret it. Staff was friendly, place was clean. We sat in a booth by the holding tanks and it kept the kids occupied. Definitely recommend.

We had lunch here with friends recently. They had just opened up during the Covid 19 crisis. Although the staff responded appropriately, the overwhelming majority of the guests did not. No masks, no distancing.
That aside, the beer was good, the service was superb, and the food was okay. Wifi works fine. Given the opportunity, we'll be back.

Things are different because of COVID-19 but had an enjoyable meal on the patio. You place your order at the bar and have to get your own drinks. Server delivers order to your table in take-out containers. The food and beer were very good and reasonably priced.

We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon on our way to Silver Lake. The service was excellent, friendly staff and good beer. Hopefully, we won't have to wait 3 years again to go back!

Wanted to check out this brewery while on weekend trip. Stopped in, found a booth to sit at. None of the staff said anything to us as they were constantly walking by our table delivering food items. We just sat there waiting... Then found on the table that we needed to scan in a QR code to get the menu, and order online.. What is this? Order online while you are in the restaurant. Its not like they were super busy, or didn't have enough staff. This is just plain stupid, and we had to find out for ourselves after sitting there awhile. Unacceptable, we just walked out and went to Open Hearth Grille, which had great food, decent prices, and awesome staff. This place lost out on our money, and will never try again.
