Excellent give it a 5 Star. Food is delicious, service is excellent and they are very much in line with the COVID-19, social distancing regulation.

This place is unbelievable. Everything seemed ok for awhile until the waitress interrupted the elder at the table to describe specials. My opinion is that a waitress should never do that, AT ALL! But especially to a 91 year old in a “club” setting. We...all kept quiet about it but everyone noticed. That 91 year old was with a younger crowd but our youngest age was 61. 10 min after receiving the menu our waitress started pushing us for an order!!! Not just once, but several times. She would not take the hint to back off. I decided to go ask the woman seemingly in control, to ask that the waitress back off and give us some time. Normally that would not be a deal breaker, but here, we were suddenly being served by another woman that had apparently zero care about us. Later i was told the waitress that was so bold and obnoxious to us was in tears because I had asked that she give us some time to choose our meals. Meanwhile every time ANY waitress passed by our table they literally SHOVED my chair. I was being brutally shoved every time ANY waitress passed by. YICKS!!!!! My chair was MOVING with the shoves 4- 6”!!! THIS IS A PRIVATE CLUB! We have only been off season members here... and frankly ONLY because the bar is so cute and the bartender is so sincere. We have had a few disappointing meals here but NOTHING LIKE THIS. In fact, all of us including the 91 year old have NEVER been treated with this level of disrespect- and holy cow, in a “CLUB” ????? You MUST be joking. My chair being SHOVED again and again??? alrighty then... this place has no place here.More

Used to be open to non-members off-season. Now completely closed to non-members; as a local, this is off-putting. Many other appealing alternatives. But when it was accessible, the food was exceptional and of excellent value.More

We had the pleasure of dining at The Depot last night while visiting my father for the weekend. The service was impeccable and the food was exceptional. My father ordered the perch (the evening special), I ordered the walleye and my husband ordered the pork....Brian, the bartender, and Sandy, our waitress, even helped take special care of our 4 year old daughter by cutting her fresh orange slices at the bar. We can't wait to return. Thank you to The Depot for a beautiful evening. Audrey Adams Mondock & Family.More

The Depot, a private club, offered winter membership for $50. We enjoy it. The service is always top notch and the food never disappoints. The wine list is decent.

Now a private club that occasionally lets non-members dine there, the food is exemplary. This is a high-end restaurant, jacket required (for men) and a bit pricey. But it is worth every penny. Outstanding food, gracious and elegant service, and a beautiful dining room that...is not to be missed.More

It was a dark and stormy night ... Well - not so much really after about an hour the snow let up - but at 5:15 it was pretty blustery! A friend and I headed over to the Depot in Harbor Springs to try their...Facebook Advertised $30 for 3 Course Meal. To our great delight, we wound up being their only guests for the first 2 hours of our 2.5 hour stay! They started us off with a delightful "amuse" - and they also brought wonderful cherry pecan & roasted seed bread options from Crooked Tree Breadworks to enjoy with the meal. The Kale Salad that was featured on Face Book was every bit as delicious as it looked ... and it was quite a substantial salad too. Both of us felt we would go back just for the salad alone - say for a lunch? - and be perfectly happy. For my choice on the 2nd course, I had the Smokey Butternut Squash Bisque with Candied Walnuts and Montchevre Goat Cheese - it was incredible. The first bite - I had the smoke flavor from the bacon (I think) that was in the soup - the second bite had the sweetness and crunch of candied walnut - and my third spoonful was velvety with a fleck of the goat cheese - which was their Truffle variety. I cannot emphasize enough the deliciousness of this 3rd bite - so wonderfully enhanced by the earthy truffle tones - so subtle and perfect with the tang of the goat cheese. The soup was a masterpiece ... every bite meant to savor - and my father would have absolutely approved that they served it at that perfect piping hot temperature in a dish that kept the heat constant. I was torn for deciding amongst the 3 options they offered for 2nd course - but I'm so very happy I picked the soup. Third course lived up to the same perfection as the rest of the food served. Char-grilled, spice rubbed, breast of natural chicken carbonara sliced on black pepper fettuccini with crisp pancetta, cream, farm egg & parmesan reggiano. I am a fan of carbonara and this was first time I had it served with chicken. It was fantastic and plentiful. I took some home and it was just as delicious later as when it was first served there. Again a lovely balance of the char flavor - the creamy sauce - and the peppery bite of the fettuccini. If you have not yet tried the Depot - I recommend highly that you take advantage of their Winter 2015 offering of this fantastic $30 for 3 Course Meal ... and maybe you too will be lucky and go on a night where others choose to stay home and you'll have a private dining experience as flawless as mine! Thank you Chef - Thank you Henni (the service was impeccable) - Thank you Depot ... it was the perfect ending to a fantastic day for me!More
