We were staying down in Petoskey at Stafford ‘s Bay View Inn and Teddy’s was recommended by our host, Nathan. He understood our mood to come as we were after a long day traveling, but hungry for good food. My husband had the oysters Rockefeller and the walleye. He died and went to heaven! I had pesto chicken and a delicious Conundrum red wine. Our waitress was a pro ( she works in healthcare as well - sorry her name slipped our mind, but you want her!) who didn’t hover, knew the menu well, made great suggestions and showed up just at the right time. When it says fine food in a casual setting - Teddy’s does it well! Our food was very flavorful and delicious, large portions, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Looks like the section might be fun too!

We were staying at the highlands during lockdown and tired of chicken tenders and pizza from boyne. Well Teddy's hit an absolute homerun! Food w as delicious and delivered to our hotel door faster than the resort could get us chicken tenders...... the calamari was some of the best I've ever had despite being delivery. Veggies were perfect tender crisp. Salmon was delicious and the sauce perfect (can't count how many broken sauces I've had from delivery). And fast! Seriously boyne would take 75 to 90 min to deliver chicken nuggets and they did a full meal in about 40 minutes with delivery. Can't recommend enough!

We are so glad we decided to try this restaurant! We were looking for a variety of menu options, and I was ready for a steak! Lucky for us it was Prime Rib night. It was one of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had. It was perfectly cooked to the medium rare we requested. I also decided to try the au graten potatoes, and they did not disappoint! Not only was the food amazing, but our server could not have been more helpful. She was so friendly and welcoming. You could tell she really loves the restaurant, because we almost felt as if we were guests in her home. It was a wonderful way to round out our week in MI. I only wish we had tried it earlier in the trip, because there were many items on the menu that we would have loved to try.

We came in with a large party and it was very busy. Luckily we had made a reservation so we walked right in. My husband asked for a few pub menus since we had a large group of teens and burgers are more their style. The waitress was instantly annoyed by that. I'm guessing it had something to do with her tip that was automatically charged (generally restaurants do this for large groups and I understand that) since the pub menu is about half the price of the regular menu. We ordered our drinks and she brought them over we asked if we could order now since we were ready and she said "No. Not right now. I have food up that I need to deliver." As she clears our cracker wrappers for the second time since we sat down (if you are so busy stop cleari
ng the cracker wrappers) I understand it's busy but the tone she used was rude. We got coconut shrimp as an appetizer and it came out over cooked. We kept it anyway since it was busy. It was still pretty good anyway and they were huge, maybe the biggest shrimp I've ever eaten. Our food came out relatively quickly especially with as busy as it was. I got the white fish and I thought it tasted too much like oil but my husband said it was really good. Everyone else liked their food as well. We had two people ask for ranch (annoying, I used to be a waitress I get it but you don't act annoyed by it) and the waitress said "yeah but it's going to be a minute" with the most annoyed attitude. Overall a pretty good experience. But our waitress must have been having an off night. We will probably give it another try.

In 2018 we started going to Boyne Highlands for winter trips and we always like trying local places for our meals. Teddy Griffin’s was close, looked cool and highly recommended by locals, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed! Really well prepared food, nice cocktails and super friendly service. We were looking forward to going back again in 2019 and again, we were not let down. As long as we keep going back to Harbor Springs, we’re gonna keep going to TG’s.

I’m guessing 99% of the locals in the 49740 hood, have dined here. AND dine here regularly..... Teddy’s offers classically Americana food, in a friendly cozy atmosphere. AND everything on the menu tastes good. My personal favorite is the piccata! Or maybe the PRIME RIB!
The restaurant is CLEAN, & the entire team is pro & friendly.

TGs is a little off the beaten path but very convenient if you're visiting Nubs or Boyne Highlands. It's been around for as long as I can remember and we love it! It's "classic" up north dining and decor, and gets a pretty consistent clientele. We love to eat in the bar, it in the bar area at the high tops. Menu is extensive, good wine selectin. Prim rib specials on the weekends (?) Which I love! My husband and I split one PR entree and each get an app or a salad. Goat cheese salad has a little of everything is cheese, lettuce, fruit, nuts. Awesome! Prices are moderate for the area, which can be expensive. Carry out during Covid is FAST and easy. Enjoy!

Teddy Griffin's Roadhouse, located close to two ski resorts, is consistently popular with both the locals and visitors. We dined there with a friend on a Wednesday evening in early November. As usual, the restaurant was full and buzzing. Our two fish entrees, whitefish and walleye, were unremarkable. A glass of wine was reasonably priced.

We were staying at Boyne Highlands and Teddy's was nearby. We went twice this past weekend. First night we ate in the dining room. My husband's filet was very good, the coconut shrimp was also very good and large. We liked everything we had!
The next evening we decided to sit at the bar and order a pizza and a couple of cokes.
We had the best time meeting other guests and laughing and chatting with everyone including the great bartenders. Our bartender Christian was excellent, cheerful and friendly.
We wanted to note that as we dined the first night we recognized the exceptional flow of the workers. While other restaurants seem to be struggling Teddy's staff was top notch.
What a great dining experience in a casual setting!!! Loved it, can't wait to go back!

We visited this restaurant last year and had a wonderful experience….not this year! We had the absolute worst waitress I believe I have ever encountered. We were a larger group so were aware we would be paying the 20% gratuity. Our bills were totally mixed up in every way possible and when brought to our waitresses attention she told us to figure it out ourselves. Her attitude was flippant and arrogant. We asked to see the manager (owner) who stated this was one of her best! Wow.

You always feel more confidant about your restaurant selection while on vacation, when you walk in and find the place well populated with locals. This was a great dining experience. The food was tremendous and Connie, our server was just the best. She knew exactly what the food was going to be like and how it was going to be prepared. On our next trip up north, we'll make another visit here.

In the food industry, there is such a struggle for staff. This crew worked together and rocked it! The kitchen was SLAMMED but turned out some amazing dishes. My husband had raw oysters in a half shell, which he said were sucked properly - yes, he is a foodie. I had shrimp cocktail and the sauce was an great blend of horseradish. For dinner my husband had veal scalopini, which he said was very tasty. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Even though they were slammed they accommodated my gluten and dairy allergy. Diane, our server, top notch. Thank you for a great experience! See you next time!

Teddy Griffin's was absolutely a PERFECT spot for us for dinner when we were up there for a golf trip. It's easily findable with a great outdoor dining area. We actually ended up sitting at the bar to eat and the bartender was great - very friendly. They had nice gluten-free options as well on the menu.

Reviews were good but have never eaten here so decided to give them a try. Born and raised in Petoskey; Teddy’s was recommended by friends and relatives. Food was good to very good, all in our party were satisfied. Service a little slow; it appeared the waitstaff was a little stretched covering too many tables. Nice atmosphere. Would return.

We had high hopes for this place, unfortunately our hopes we're crushed the instant the 1st appetizers hit the table. Also the place smells like wet dog and ski boots. Calamari was greasy searved with a tomato paste dipping sauce that was absolutely disgusting. All the food seemed like it came straight out of the freezer including the steaks nothing fresh. Only thing that was good was the martini with blue cheese stuffed Olives. Other restaurants in the area that are way better avoid at all cost.
