We just picked up pizza last night since no one wanted to cook and we’re very pleasantly surprised. Veggies seems fresh, pepperoni was well spiced, crust was crisp enough but not too crisp. Will order again.

After some long hours of business, our group of 9 people went for dinner to Capozio's. We were given great service with plenty of attention. Everyone seemed happy with their selections. It was a superb dining experience for this mixed group of various cultures.

We eat here once a year or so while Camping in the area at Warren Dunes State Park.
Often I will have veal parmesan which I really like. This time my wife talked me into the cannelloni.
Glad I tried it as it was very good.
We also had a bottle of Righetti Valpolicella which we enjoyed as well.
They have pizza on the menu also, so something for everyone.

We visited this place 3 yrs ago. At that time we ate inside the restaurant. Neither my husband or myself were all that impressed. We found ourselves back in the area & wanted to pickup a pizza while staying in nearby Lakeside. Since it was the closest location, we thought we'd give them another shot. Wish we'd have gone elsewhere. We ordered a large sausage & pepperoni on regular crust. We also got 2 cannoli. $30 & about 45 min later we picked up our food. Due to Covid they're only doing curbside pickup. The confirmation email said to call when we arrived however the woman on the other end of the phone seemed confused & bothered by my call. Our order was quickly brought to the car. Once back in our cottage, we anxiously opened the box. Unfortunately what sat in that box appeared to be a lackluster frozen pizza. The sausage was huge chunks that basically rolled off the crust. The sauce was almost missing altogether. It lacked seasoning also. Both of us were very disappointed.
I enjoyed the cannoli however my husband was also disappointed in it.
We will not be giving it a 3rd try...

The food here is unimaginative and not good - not to mention overpriced for what you get. My husband and I went here for an anniversary dinner. Big mistake.

Local, family-owned Italian restaurant. Good pasta, ribs and sandwiches, and great pizza. Especially good is their homemade Italian sausage on either a sandwich or pizza. Seating in bar area, TV's in main dining area. Friendly staff.

I heard and read so much positive about this joint but that was all that was good about this joint. Food was cold beverage refills for scarce in between this felt very out of place here won't be returning soon

I had the very fortunate opportunity to revisit my favorie global Italian restaurant and surprisingly was rewarded. During the annual seasonal closing, they totally remodeled the dining area/bar/and restaurant area and brought it up to an exceptional current vogue. They are even in the process of adding an al fresco dining area as well and orchestrated a large private dining area for private special events. The bar menu has expanded and this visit had a special on Godiva chocolate coffee martinis. Absolutely wonderful!
The chicken parmesan dinner is hands down the best I have ever tasted. The owner, Theresa, is personable and simply a joy!
Don't pass up this fabulous restaurant when visiting SW Michigan!!

We drove (again) from NW IN to our favorite Italian restaurant. This seemingly under appreciated restaurant is home to the Midwest's best pasta dishes. We have never had a disappointing meal here nor service. The chicken parmesan with the side dish of perfectly prepared pasta and tasty sauce was simply outstanding. The accompanying bread and salads were fresh and delicious.
All dishes are ample and come with courteous and personable wait staff. Our waitress, Cindy, was attentive and very hospitable. Also, nice atmosphere.
When on the Red Arrow Highway (US 12) in SW Michigan Do Not Miss This. Be sure and check the website for times ad the menu.

Simply one of my favorite "red sauce" Italian restaurants. Meatballs are the best that I've ever had; in fact I believe that my first solid food as a baby was Lenny Capozio's spaghetti and meatballs. I'm actually getting misty-eyed thinking about their delicious home-made minestrone; their fresh bread rivals any New York or Chicago Italian Bakery; the tortellini and cannelloni are both superb pasta choices; not-so-thin crust pizza is excellent.
Staff is always welcoming and very attentive; great dining options either in the sports area or in the dining room.
Highly recommended to my Chicago friends coming to this beautiful part of Southwestern Michigan for the weekend.

My husband and I stopped in here on a Sunday evening around 5:30 and was shocked to find the place empty. I mean, literally not 1 table being used. (A few others came in within minutes of our arrival.) I was surprised to walk into what appeared to be a sports bar environment. It has a TV with a football game on. There were lockers along the wall...
Just not what I expect when I see Italian. Oh well...
We sat in one of the few booths and looked over the menu. Our waitress was nice enough but not overly personable.
My husband ordered a glass of wine and was given a miniature bottle and a glass. Classy...not.
He ordered the veal & peppers which he had served over angel hair instead of the linguini that was on the menu. It didn't look great to me but he said it was good...so that's all that matters.
I ordered the alfredo sauce over mostaccioli. It was a large portion (I got the full order, should've gotten the 1/2) The sauce was a good consistency however it was VERY salty. I mean, to the point where I couldn't eat more than 1/4 of the plate. Pretty disappointing since I normally LOVE alfredo! Was also pretty expensive since nothing was spectacular. Oh well...you live and you learn, I guess.

The food was good. Our server was new, and it was probably her first time serving tables, so we had to over look a few mistakes. With that being said...we are wondering...my friend has a gluten intolerance and asked for the gluten free pasta. The waitress came back to say that you could only get the gluten free pasta if you ordered the spaghetti dinner, and not with your eggplant parm dinner. Seemed silly and not very accommodating.

There were five of us that stopped in for a meal and we were very pleased. Some had pizza, one had pasta, a half order that looked like a full order and I had a very good Italian beef sandwich. Service was great and the prices are reasonable. Even though we had different items it all was served at the same time.
