Bar. Bar food. I had the ribs, pretty decent. Wife had some kind of fish, she wasn't overly impressed, we haven't been back.

We tried to eat here once. We sat ourselves down after waiting 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we got menus and waters. meanwhile the local folks were getting served and lots of conversation. After being there 30 minutes and watching them talk to everyone they knew, we left without EVER even ordering! Terrible experience and we will never, ever go... More

Great food (they also cater), lots of good Michigan craft beer, cool wait staff and nostalgic ambiance! Each time we leave, we already look forward to coming back again. Just something about the place?

(Please note that the Sept 2014 date I've given is only partially correct. No earlier choices were available.) Over the years, I've lunched here a dozen times or so with school friends when I'm in town. (The last time, I believe, was in summer 2011, but I've not heard that things have changed since then.) Huckleberry's is a bar/café located... More

Our waitress seemed too busy eating her own dinner! We had to flag her down for every refill (water and pop), and then the bill. Chicken tenders were a frozen mess, and fish (cod) just average. The club sandwich was the best thing ordered.

Saturday night, not too busy. Sat ourselves. Service was horribly slow. Took a long time to meet our server and after we got our drinks it took a VERY long time to place our order. she dropped our drinks and left us. After we placed our order it took another VERY long time to get our food. Surprisingly our food... More

This restaurant is very old fashioned. It has alot of historical stiff in it. The service on a Saturday was good...greeted upon entering the place, told to seat ourselves, order taken quickly and checked on regularly. It us dark inside but we had a heat time just eating and talking. I ordered three hard travis and found it to be... More

The food was ok. The service was horrible and the owner Linda Huckleberry was rude and argumentative over a coupon?!?! Apparently they couldn't spare the $5 off our meals. Do not recommend this place at all! Winter's Inn next door was way better.

Food is still great here at reasonable prices. The menu promotes a Michigan Cherry Burger. Asked the server what was in it and she said she heard they feed the cows a special cherry feed and then use the burger. She did not have a clue what she was talking about. I thought she was joking at first, but she... More
