I ordered a taco pizza from rico's tonight. It was one of the best pizza's I ever had. Pizza was hot and ready when I got there. Delicious!!!

Waited forever for our food. Then it came COLD. Didn't complain because we were so hungry we didn't want to wait forever again. As I went to pay the bill there were 6-8 meals waiting for the waitress to deliver to the table. If you...can't handle the busy times, limit seating. We never get to go out and eat. Too expensive. So this was suppose to be a special night. Now I am out $40.00. I will never go back.More
We had the burger fest. It was great. Whatever I’ve had at Rico’s has been delicious. My husband had Broaster chicken and he loved it. We’ll be back.
My wife and I had dinner at Rico's. The lodge we stayed at provided us $40 in gift cards, so we took advantage of the gift cards by having dinner at the establishment. I had the all you can eat fish and chips, while my...wife had the mushroom cheeseburger. The Alaskan Pollock fish were excellent. The service was quick, and the food was served hot and fresh. We arrived at 535pm - we were seated immediately. Arriving shortly after 600pm would have resulted in a short wait, but overall, the cafe remained steadily busy without too much of a wait. We'd eat here again.More
We thank you for the great review and are happy you enjoyed your meals & service. Your kind and positive words go a long way with our Mom and Pop restaurant.
Everything was processed, packaged, from frozen, nothing fresh, and it tasted like it. Dry, tasteless. Won't go back.
We went for a nice dinner, chimichanga for my wife, Italian grinder for me. Wife’s beans and rice on side were cold, my grinder was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had. Maybe they can do pizza decently, maybe we will try that for carry out....They really didn’t seem to care that our meal was horrible.More
I do apologize. It sure has been tough lately. The staff is stressed. The worst time to own a business in the past 24 years! Hope you can forgive us, we are truly trying and struggling. We hope you return. No excues though for any...More
This is a great local restaurant that supports our Veteran’s. The staff is super pleasant and the restaurant was clean. I am gluten & dairy free and our server, Jennifer was on it. The dinner salad was fresh and delicious. I had the Rico Burger...with no bun or cheese. It was prepared perfectly - mid rare. The folks next to us got the fish special and WOW they were HUGE pieces. If you want good food for a reasonable price, go to Rico’s.More
We've been there twice recently and both times were great. You definitely get a lot of bang for the buck. On the first visit, my husband had the broasted chicken and I ordered the liver. Both were delicious! A restaurant that can prepare liver well...is few and far between. The second time my husband ordered the Octoberfest meal with pork, potato pancakes, and red cabbage. I stuck with the liver. Once again, we were not disappointed. We're planning to go back before the end of the month so I can order the Octoberfest dinner as well. We agree that Jenna is awesome and so is Tony.More
Thank you for the 5 star review. It makes us happy you enjoy our "Mom & Pop" restaurant and our food. Really happy you found us during our Oktoberfest month! We will post this and make Jenna and Tony blush!
You don't want to miss this. LARGE portions and great taste. Jenna is an awesome server. They also serve a good breakfast.
Thank you for taking the time for a positive review. Glad you enjoyed our Oktoberfest menu. We think Jenna is a "Jem" also! I will share this with her.
We had 6 at our table and 5 of us enjoyed the Octoberfest menu. It was yummy and the servings are huge. They have great German drinks and desserts as well.
Thank you so much for the positive review. The Oktoberfest menu is one of our most popular months. Glad you enjoyed it!
I had the pizza and it was really good. My husband had the meatloaf and it was below average. It was smothered in a brown gravy and didn’t stand on its own. His onion rings were served cold. Lettuce in the Caesar salad was brown...but flavor was good. Several people around us seemed to like their burgers. So recommend it for pizza and burgers. Service wasn’t great. No drink refills and had to request soup and salad when our dinners were served.More
We are sorry you had less than a great experience at our cafe. Did you alert the server or ask to speak to the manager or owner? We could have remedied it immediately that way. Please return and introduce yourself to our manager or owner...More
We got a traditional crust pizza to go and it was very good. Thin, crispy crush and not skimpy on the toppings. Yummy.
Glad you enjoyed it. I will pass this along to our pizza cooks! Thank you for taking the time to post a positive review.
I absolutely love this place! I found out about Ricos in February of this year. I've been about 25 times since. My only regret is that I didn't find out about Rico's earlier. This restaurant is incredible. The service, food and variety are all the...things other restaurants should strive to be. Thank you Rico's for being you. I love every bite!More
Thank you very much Ben. I sure will pass this along to our super, duper, wonderful staff! We appreciate you taking the time for a positive review.
Rico's is my local go-to in Traverse City. The food, service, and prices are always top-notch. I can't wait for them to re-open although I will only get takeout for a while yet.
My brother and I slipped in for a breakfast. Nice inside, attentive service, and plenty of room. I went with sausage links, eggs and home fries. The fried potatoes were a 10. Fried with onions and bell pepper, mighty tasty. Brother went with the huevos...rancheros. Completely enjoyed the meal. This is a solid cafe/restaurant with lots of choices. Check it out.More
