The ordering process here is a bit weird and gives the atmosphere a strained vibe. Food is good overall. Ecotour36

Visited about 11 a.m., and it was not very crowded. Food is reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. Bread made on premises. The only criticism I have that it was annoyingly noisy when they sliced bread the three or four times we were there. I'm told that a bit later there are often long lines and lack of seats. A few... Choices abound. Neighborhood bakery, choices among choices. My favorite croissant in town. Mastery, muffins, sugary baked goods that are fresh and delicious. Written up many times in the Grand Rapids magazine for quality, service, and enjoyable in the experience that is received many tines over with this popular bakery cafe'.

Great place to study or hangout. Free wifi. The bread and pastries are all great. I really like the island cookies which are on Saturday. The health bread is really awesome too.

My wife and I had some time mid morning on a Thursday. Since we were in the area we decided to check out the Wealthy Street Bakery. We had several friends tell us it was a great place for a coffee and a pastry so we were in. When we walked in it felt like we had stepped back in... More

This is a nice little bakery/restaurant, but my friend and I split a chicken salad sandwich and it was not good. Who in town makes an old-fashioned chicken salad sandwich! It needs to be creamy with celery, a little onion, salt, pepper, Kraft salad dressing, throw in a few cut up grapes and walnuts. There you go people!

We visited this bakery early in the morning of Saturday. They were families with young kids and some with older kids. And some were meeting up with friends. And some people that came solo. When my daughter and visited. It felt very cozy and a place where people could come and enjoy their Saturday morning. We had a pastry and... More

Had the chicken salad sandwich and ended up in the ER with severe food poisoning not to mention it took 40 minutes to complete my order because my cashier was high.

We didn't eat here but we did stop in to get some pastries. I was almost overwhelmed by the amount of gluten free naked goods they have and picked up more than I care to admit. The cinnamon roll was divine. Everything was MOIST and delicious. My husband had a regular cheese danish and he said it melted in his... More

Stopped here for lunch after a visit to Meyer May House. Sandwiches good, soup a little listless, service casual and none too fast, but all pleasant enough. They hype pizzas and calzones but these are not available till 4 PM.
