Even during COVID, the restaurant was not a disappointment. They sat us in the back with amazing views of the riverfront. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was superb. Our server made the night very enjoyable and I had a great birthday.

Was staying in the Amway Grand so I popped in for dinner and it was packed. My advice is make a reservation. The tuna appetizer was soooo good. They used some dry ice and the presentation was incredible. People were coming over asking what we...had ordered. The chef made a flatbread pizza that was a mistake and let us try it. I kind of wish after trying it I would have ordered the pizza. Everything was perfect. The waitress recommended the Pad Thai and it did not disappoint. I would definitely love to come back.More

First visit to The Kitchen By Wolfgang Puck. We wanted to try a different new restaurant for Date Night. Don’t use Siri or Google maps to find the restaurant. It was windy and extremely cold. The internet directed us down a side street to the...north side of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. We ducked into the hotel for warmth and found out the restaurant is located at the west end of the hotel by the Grand River and you can enter from the hotel. The restaurant is Modern-causal. We were seated in a booth with a very small view of the river. It was uncomfortable to my wife so we moved to a table with a river view but not by the windows. The atmosphere was warm. Friendly and quick service. Full service bar with a television for the bar crowd. They have a pizza oven for the Famous Wolfgang Puck pizzas. We ordered Smoked Parsnip Mushroom soup which was delicious. A generous portion of pre-made “Kung Pow” Lettuce Wraps which were very good. Pepperoni and Marinated Tomato Pizza which had a thin crust, stringy Mozzarella cheese and a balanced portion of pepperoni. They have a good variety of wines that are complimentary with the food. Plenty of food. The manager is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in the downtown area The Kitchen is worth a visit we will return. Please note: Valet parking is complimentary. Remember the main entrance to the restaurant is from the hotel.More

Sooo disappointing. $34/pp for a Holiday Inn type breakfast buffet. No lunch items, just a basic eggs/potato/sausage line up. No soup, minimal salad selection, no seafood. Just deli ham/turkey they try to pawn off as sliced hot entree. Never will go back. A total rip...off. Not at all top cuisine.More

We came with another couple for NYE dinner, we were all impressed. Our waitress, Carmen, was great, friendly & very attentive. 3 of us had the smoked parsnip soup, which was delicious. All four of us had the surf n turf; seared scallops & ribeye,...we were all pleased. Dessert followed & was great. Maybe you should eat dessert first, just to make sure you have room for it.More

For a hotel restaurant The Kitchen does a fine job. Not flashy, not over the top but very consistent homey food. It was a wet, cold evening, long day and the menu and service hit the spot. The menu includes a wide variety of options....From grilled Salmon with a side of Brussel Sprouts - really good and the Shanghai Noodles - pate was empty. A few salads prior to, nice bottle of Red wine, good way to cap off the day. Nice decor, plenty of light, wood floors with good acoustics. Well done.More

Dining solo this visit as was here on a business trip. Greg was an outstanding server, very attentive and descriptive in offerings. I ordered Wienerschnitzel and the brussels sprouts sidedish. Started with a glass of the Gruner veltliner wine. Wienerschnitzel was made of pork but...delicious! The potatoes were not to my liking, I had some but wouldn’t say they were my favorite. The brussels sprouts were to die for. Slow night for them and the Brussels sprouts were delivered well after I received my entree. They fix timing; would have received 5 rating.More

Not certain. However, the menu is extensive. The Chef is very anxious to please. I am certain he will work with your needs. Have confidence.
