Have been here a couple of times while visiting the Grand Rapids area. Have been very happy every time. The Service is professional and the Food is great. The scenery is great. If you don't want to be in the downtown areas, then this place is perfect. If it's your first time, then I would advise that you go a... More

Thanks for stopping in while you are in Grand Rapids! We have a beautiful spot over looking Reed's Lake, especially in the summer months. We do offer complimentary valet parking Wed-Sat to help with the congestion of parking. And we do tend to go on a wait, but our pagers allow you to go out in the park while you... More

Roses has several decks and a patio to enjoy being outside and the view of Reeds Lake. We shared gazpacho , a featured salad of spinach, fruits, sliced almonds and goat cheese and the Walleye. This worked well for us to have a variety but not be over whelmed by the portion sizes. They even brought our entree on 2... More

Our Gazpacho is a great summer soup. Fresh and always enjoyed during our warmer months. And summer salads with fruit and nuts are always a great choice! Healthy, and so tasty at the same time! And of course you can't forget about out caramel corn. The building used to sell that delicious caramel corn, so obviously we have to serve... More

Right on the shore of Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids. Outside seating on a warm summer evening with the sun behind the building, a breeze blowing and the ducks and sailboats to watch is a great combination. The gazpacho was fresh and wonderful. The crab cake and the chicken pesto salad were their dependable good. Wine special was a... More

Had business guests in from Toronto. A round of drinks while waiting for deck requested seating. We all had excellent meals (see below). Service was great. Deck view and ambiance couldn't be beat. Toronto guests remarked how beautiful the setting was and what a great place it was. Even remarking there was nothing like this ( on the water dining)... More

Decades ago an amusement park graced this property. Black and white photos in the entrance hall attest to many good times. Today it is a popular local eatery which has excellent fish and chips (perch) and horseradish encrusted walleye. Summer dining at its best. Bar offerings include craft cocktails, beer including local brews and wine--all reasonably priced. You can watch... More

My husband and I were on a mini vacation celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Had been hitting up the local craft beer pubs but wanted something special for dinner and boy did we find it at Rose's. Beautiful setting along the lake so the hour wait for dinner was enjoyable. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. I had the... More

Went with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Sat on the deck right next to Reed's Lake - our favorite spot at Rose's. Appetizer of grilled brie, then spicy chicken enchiladas, the the lump meat crap cakes. No complaints! Great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy!
