Once the very slow, extremely rude bartender made his way down to my end of the empty bar (15 min) he proceeded to scold me saying “we can’t be serving people who are just standing around”, I decided that my party of 7 would just...have to “stay thirsty” during our 1 Hour plus wait for a table in a mostly empty restaurant!! There are other places to go people!!!More

Gravity was recommended to us and we thought we would give it a try on a Saturday afternoon. We went with my husband's parents and settled into a comfortable booth. Choose Brussel Buerre Rogue and Loaded Tots for appetizers and they were soooo good. Dinners...consisted of a Perch dinner, two orders of Irish Pub Sandwich, and one order of Spicy Chicken sandwich. (My hubby and I shared the Irish Pub and Spicy Chicken so we could sample both.) The flavor was delicious. Will def be back. Their menu is available online if you want to look before you go.More

Have always loved this restaurant, food and service. However, tonight’s food was terrible. Dried out and barely warm. BLT Sandwiches were missing the tomato’s. Order’s couldn’t be kept straight nor the bill between two couples. The waitress got put out and short with us. Asked...for the manager, he never came by. We are RedWater members and never been treated as we were tonight. Won’t be back anytime soon.More

From the time we sat down to the time we got our drinks was nearly 45 minutes! We got our appetizer exactly 1 minute later. Our food was undercooked (steak ordered medium and was badly bleeding in the middle of the steak but better on...the ends as shown), broccoli tasted awful, and my son’s onion rings were very bland. Our waitress was very inattentive, but the manager staff was EXTREMELY friendly and attempted to make things right.More

The Gravity is a good sized operation in the parking lot next to the Country Inn & Suites along the East Beltline. There is long list of beers for the beer lovers, and some decent wine options for the vino lovers. The menu has been...scaled back a bit in light of the pandemic, but there were many good selections both for entree's and appetizers. They serve both lunch and dinner here, and have indoor seating and a heated outdoor patio area. The servers were excellent, and the food was great. This is a very laid back atmosphere and a comfortable place to just "hang out".More

Beers were good - nice, well-categorized selection. Appetizers we had were very good. Waitress was top notch. But when we asked for bread, they brought us charred, blackened bread AND CHARGED US FOR IT! If they had brought us stellar quality bread, sure. Or if...they had tossed us some gratis bread, I’ve got very little to complain about. Just felt like a dumb way to wrangle out another two bucks.More

We were immediately seated when we arrived. The service was good. The guys thought the stout and flights were tasty. I ordered the Traverse City Reisling which is always good. For dinner we ordered the special bacon Mac and cheese (a favorite), the mushroom pizza...(amazing wood-fired pizza with several types of mushrooms and cheeses), the Pad Thai (a large serving of deliciousness), and the acorn squash special.More

Excellent place for lunch, dinner or cold drinks and appetizers. The zero gravity sensation of no pressure, low key yet elegant and intimate atmosphere. Good for family and friends who are getting together to celebrate a birthday or holiday. Also ideal for quick business lunch...due to the discreet service and interior design. There is a long bar with plenty of stools for folks who simply like trying out the local beers from their extensive selection of breweries. Grand Rapids is well known for its new brews and fast moving river.More

We all showed up for a late dinner on a Thursday night without a reservation. We were seated very quick for a group of 10 at the last minute. Service was fast and we had drinks in our hands as fast as we could choose....The delightful selection of beers slowed us down a bit. I've seen bigger selections, but these were all good choices. My burger was basic but good. My wife's hummus, while a bit bland was accompanied by delightfully large fresh vegetables (that red pepper was great) and warm mini-naan's. My brother, a picky eater, seemed happy with his pizza.More

We popped in here after going to the Meijer Gardens for dinner before driving back home. We had a toddler and older child with us and were not quite sure if it was a good place to take our younger child. We were able to...get right in even though the parking lot was packed. We were first placed at a table in a busy section which we knew would not work with a two year old so we asked to move to a booth. The hostesses were very nice about this. They had to get permission first but it was fine. Our server was great even though they were very busy. There are about 100 beers on tap it seems. We ordered a local brew and a local hard cider. We took home a growler of their hard seltzer which was pretty good! We had pretzels and beer cheese for an app which was really good and I ordered the build your own mac and cheese. That was a little bland but it was build your own so I should have ordered garlic with it. The kids meal had an awesome fruit salad. They seem to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients when possible. Also the bill was less than we expected.More
