We had a great experience here! Our server was a delight, and the food was really good. We both ordered seafood centric dishes and they were fabulous. I consider myself to be quite the foodie and am often disappointed with restaurants. We will definitely return...here.More

I've passed this place a hundred times and wanted to go in but it looked so fancy I wasn't sure if they required reservations. I'm attending an Improv class next door so I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! It's really...lovely but not stuffy and surprisingly reasonably priced. They make their own pasta and do a great job - not mushy, not too firm. Hannah was my server and she was knowledgeable about the menu, courteous and efficient. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese - the pork ragu' and peas were just lovely. Of course I had to try dessert and the Panna Cotta was the right choice. A little crunch, a bit of cream, a burst of blueberries accompanied by a delicious dab of ganache.More

Was here for dinner several nights ago with colleagues. Seem to recall a larger more varied menu. The Charred Octopus was solid but we have had better. It was tender, well prepared and presented but missing the ‘wow’ factor. The Salads; Caesar and Burrata were...good. Two of us had half portions of the Agnolotti while the other had the Trout. The half portion of the pasta was fine as it was decadently rich. The trout was a rather small portion. Good wine list, with options at various price points. The bread service has a fee.More

We were 3 couples and spent a few leisurely hours eating, drinking and talking. The food and service were wonderful, I had the Duck 3 Ways which was amazing! The restaurant is in a construction zone, so we just took an Uber but looks like...there is some parking around the corner at the Children's museum. Great desserts, too!More

I do not have enough adjectives to describe how wonderful the meal was. It was so good we returned the next night rather than to attend a convention banquet. We ordered several starters each night and they were fantastic. They are modestly priced and absolutely...outstanding. Standouts were the charred octopus and the meatballs, and the tiramisu. This restaurant is "worth a journey," in Michelin-speak.More

We attended a rehearsal dinner here and the food, service and drinks were phenomenal. Everything was served family style which was perfect for the group of 50 we had. I would highly recommend their pork ragu pasta, the Vesuvius Chicken and the trout (and I...didn’t think I liked trout). The servers were all friendly and kept everything moving along nicely throughout the whole night. We would definitely go back for a solo meal or to host any type of future gathering!More

Stop reading this review, and just treat yourself already. My wife and I couldn’t stay away from Osteria Rossa since our last visit a couple weeks ago - when we shared a plate of pasta that we couldn’t shovel into our mouths fast enough. When...we returned this past Thursday night to celebrate 11 years of dating, we intended to sit at the bar and only have dessert and drinks, but that plan was modified and enhanced AFTER we had what we went for - their bread pudding. Executive Chef Perkey greeted us to ask how our evening was, after we overheard him recommend one of their newest additions to the menu: pasta with pork (and olives). I hate olives, and told him so - despite having tried to enjoy them in Italy and France. He chuckled, and brought over a spoon with a couple delicate green olives, and told me to try one. And, I dug it, which blew away my wife. Then, he double-downed and said I’d love their new dish. I was intrigued, and his hospitality sold me. After we had already closed out our tab, I told him we were in to try the pasta. Chef accepted the challenge, and my wife nudged me and said, “I think HE’S making our pasta.” Minutes later, he presented his dish, and dared us to not finish it. Then, when I tried to pay for it, smooth and friendly bartender Joseph told us that Chef said it was “on the house.” Our experience last night made it a very easy decision to declare Osteria Rossa “our new spot.” Grazie, Chef.More

I visited Rosa on Monday evening and it was really empty. Service was really fast, we got main within 15 minutes or so. I ordered salmon and it was tender with crispy vegetables and well matched sauces. Very nice dish. Wine paired nicely as well....Overall nice evening. I did like the portion - it was European size. Nice surprise for me overwhelmed with size of us portions in most restaurants.More

My wife and I took a rare date night out to Osteria Rossa. We were a bit late but called to inform the hostess that we were running behind. They seated us after waiting about 10 minutes, which was great. We started by telling the...server that I have a food allergy, shellfish and nuts, so that it was clear from the beginning. When we ordered the charcuterie plate, one of the meats wasn’t included. The waitress went and brought the correct one. When it was time to order we informed our waitress that we would be ordering 2 full entrees and splitting each. I ordered the chicken and my wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli (without pecans). When our food arrived, I went to take a bite of my wife’s food first, until she yelled at me to stop. Her ravioli was covered in pecans. We stopped the waitress and informed her of the situation. She said she would go back and talk to the kitchen. We waited about 5 minutes and then she returned to tell us that if we wanted it remade, that we would have to wait 45 minutes. We both finished our meals separately without so much as an apology from the waitress or manager. The chicken was great and my wife really liked her ravioli. We received the bill and was shocked that the restaurant had done nothing at the end of the night to address their mistake. We didn’t bring it up anymore so as not to let it ruin a perfectly good night. We tipped what we felt was appropriate, no where near 20%, which I have only done 2 other times. We will not be back or give the restaurant a second chance. To us, it was huge to miss the allergen. It’s unforgivable. We also will steer anyone aware from this establishment. In the service category, this place fails. Food was ok though.More
