The Cherie Inn affords diners a small, quiet place to gather in a place with a quaint and an old-time feel. I personally recommend the Greek omelet, a unique item I have found in no other restaurant. It's delicious! The thick, homemade bread is an...added plus.More

I don't recommend this place because of the mediocre food and poor customer service. We were served by the manager Tom Stolz and what I do recommend is for him to either stay away from serving tables or learn how to give proper, respectful and...empathic customer service because even though the place wasn't full, he was rushing so much he wouldn't even wait for us to answer his questions. The menu has an issue also, the "walnut cranberry french toast" doesn't specify that is made on a different type of bread. I didn't like it and I told him that I would recommend to add the word bread so it reads "walnut cranberry bread french toast". When I mentioned that to him he replied in a rather rude tone that the owner wouldn't even consider it because he just printed them. He dismissed it immediately. He could have reacted in a different way but maybe he was having a bad day. He also gave us the check right after he served the main course as if, again, he was in a rush. It was an unpleasant and disappointing experience. We won't go back again.More

The amazing food was only surpassed by the excellent service provided by Jamie. We had hash, a Benedict and French toast. All were delicious. We would definitely return on our next visit to Grand Rapids.

Whether it's breakfast or lunch you seek, the Cherie Inn has wonderful options. Each day they have a breakfast and a lunch special. I enjoyed their pancake special with choice of meat. Servers are personable and friendly. Top location in Grand Rapids for a nice...breakfast in the city!More

I love the Cherie Inn. The food is awesome and I always walk out with leftovers. It is such a cute place, the staff is friendly and the menu has both breakfast and lunch options. I had an omelet which had cheese and thinly sliced...ham - it was so good! I'll definitely be back.More

I love this place! The food and service is beyond excellent! We went for Mother’s Day and again, we left very satisfied. Michael knows how to run a restaurant and serve the highest quality food around. Thank you!!!!

Very slow experience, waiter did not check in, and the food was okay. I had the special pancakes which were unique but very dry.

We were recommended this cute place by a local resident. It did not disappoint! The table was decorated with fresh flowers, service was prompt and friendly and food was plentiful and tasty. I loved the bright Fiesta dishes that food was served on.

It depresses me to write this bc Cherie inn used to be a favorite of mine. I usually get eggs Benedict with hash browns. The quality has dropped dramatically. Hash browns are more grease than hash brown and either over or under done. The quality...of the ham even has dropped. They barely cook the English muffin and the egg, so the plate actually comes out luke warm and the egg is not done enough. More like boogers... You know what i mean. I write this with several visits of this decline and not isolated visit. I've literally been going there for 30 years. To see this level of restaurant here now... It's sad. Right now it's living off the legacy and not the quality. Of course some will still get good meals and service, but as time goes on you'll note the drop off in both.More

I enjoyed the yogurt berry parfait. Their granola is good. The cheesy hashbrowns with onions were extremely greasy so I dont think I would get that again but they have such a great menu for vegetarians and vegans and the servers are so nice and...helpful. Pay for parking on the street 8-5 during the week.More

Love this place for breakfast or brunch, especially on the weekends. There's another place down the road that seems to always have a line around the corner, but we much prefer coming here as the service is quick and very friendly, almost like you're at...Grandma's house! Came here with daughter., was looking for a good new breakfast place. It's easy to find off Eastern ave. Nice place, waiter Tom was very nice! Both me and my daughter ordered the Cheri e Plate one piece of super thick cinnamon French toast, one...egg, bacon or sausage. Oh also a slice of pineapple and orange. Both where super fresh and sweet! The whole meal tasted so fresh and really good ❣ The waiter Tom lived in the area and gave us ideas of what to do and told us about Reed Lake Park. We will definitely be back to try other items. They also have lunch items.More
