Very nice lunch. My friend and I both had soup and sandwich. It was more than enough. My chicken salad pita was very good. A nice stop after visiting the museum.

We were staying at the hotel wish we would have made it to Happy Hour or checked out the menu before we had dinner! The menu looks amazing! We ended up only getting drinks here before heading out on the town. Bailey was the bartender he was upbeat and smiling! Gave us a lot of info for around town. I’m posting this review so next time i’m in town I make sure to stop in for lunch or dinner!! The girls at the check in were also very helpful!!

I love this place. The food & service are good and the hotel in which it is located (City Flats) is a great place to stay as well. The staff is always helpful & the managers are very nice as well.

I came here to dine after a long day at work. I was sitting inside and got through 20 pages of the book I was reading when I noticed I had not even received a glass or water. The one waitress they had waited on a table that had arrived outside 10 minutes after I did. I left and went to another place down the street.

We came for dinner and it wasn’t busy. A waiter came to our table after about 5 minutes of waiting so not too bad. He barely gave us 1 minute of his time dropping off the menus. Came back got our drink order and food order, and I’m not sure what happened between then but it took over 30 minutes for a salad and an app. The waiter dropped off our food and we asked for some ranch and he never came back. We have no idea what happened. Nobody gave us the ranch, came to see if we needed more drinks(it was happy hour) came to check if our food was ok.... nothing. Highly disappointed. We even saw the front desk people from the hotel taking orders because the waiters were no where to be found. Mind you there is barely 10-15 tables in this place. Unfortunately we probably won’t come back.

I was skeptical to grab drinks and dinner in what I considered the breakfast area of a local hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. We live close and decided to walk down one night after receiving a free meal card from the Grand Rapids magazine. The happy hour was great! We had $5 margaritas and reasonably priced draft beers. They also had everything on the menu for $5 during happy hour! The items aren't exactly meals but we enjoyed burgers with fries and a calamari appetizer both of which were great! We would definitely go back during happy hour! You can't beat that price for a few drinks and a quick bite! The service was good as well- but that may have been because we were the only customers for a majority of the time we were there. (accidentally posted this review under the hotel)

I love the hotel and always stay at CityFlats when it is available. The lounge is fantastic. You can dine in or on the patio. All of the servers are hard working college kids. The Beef Tenderloin Sliders are amazing for hotel/bar food. Decent selection of craft brews. Happy hour menu is fairly large and the drink specials each day are very reasonable. If you live in the area, it might might sense to give the CitySen a try. There are so many places to go for happy hour, I am sure you would not think of a hotel lounge. Give it a whirl for a funky and upbeat vibe. The people are great and it is a relaxing and not overcrowded environment. You will like it!

My wife and I had a date night in downtown GR. We had a few cocktails before our food came out. Cocktails and service were good! My wife had the Reuben and loved it and I had the burrito which was solid. We enjoyed our night here.

Bartender is super friendly! I am here right now! He made a variation of a Moscow Mule. Super good. Not very pricey. Casual. Not loud. Near so many cool downtown venues. Hotel bar. Really like it.

We were staying at Cityflatshotel in Grand Rapids and stopped in the lounge for happy hour before heading out for the evening. The bartender came across as somewhat flip and uninterested as if he couldn't be bothered to do his job! Although it was happy hour, he could not find a happy hour menu; then he stated is was being revised. He verbally offered what was supposed to be on it. The appetizers were below average - the bruschetta was basically three pieces of regular toast with tomatoes and onions on top dripping in balsamic vinegar. Yuck. We should have sent it back. We needed protein and all the bartender offered up were mac and cheese balls which we would never normally order - ever! But we wanted something with protein in it. Besides being fried, they had absolutely no flavor. We should have sent those back as well. The wine pours were also very small - I guess that is why they have a happy hour price. We would not recommend.

We have visited this restaurant on our annual trips to GR and have always had a good experience. This year we went for dinner on two nights and the food was excellent (with one salad only being average) as was the service. The Baked Feta appetizer is wonderful! Likewise, the hamburgers were great. Definitely worth a return trip.

We waited 50 minutes and our food never came. (there was just us and another table in there, who also had to wait a long time). I had to go up to the bar to ask to have our water glass refilled. The service sucked. So we walked out and went to Downtown Market to grab a sandwich to take back to our desks, so here I sit eating my lunch and working at the same time. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
