The staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was rainy and the place was very busy. Average food but good portions.

Was here once many years ago, long before it became a brew pub, and had enjoyed it then, so thought we'd try it again. It was a beautiful day and we ate on the patio. Both the pizza and the burgers were very good and the beers we tried were excellent. Our waitress was a gem. Would definitely return if... More

Bar food and fairly good, not great. If it's before 4:30 PM, I'd go a few blocks over to the West Bay Diner for better sandwiches (but no beer or alcohol). Been here four times, the Dunes Saloon is reliably filling, but nothing to brag about.

We stopped and the place was busy but it had seating in the back. Out of every beer but two, however tried both and they were good. I had the fish tacos. They were ok but the fish itself was wonderful. The chicken basket had three large pieces of chicken. The onion rings were also very good. The service wasn't... More

We were hesitant because for now it's the only place in town. But it was great! We had the white fish tacos and were very satisfied. Very friendly staff and locals

We could have gotten food from a market across the street or eating at The Dunes Saloon as there was nothing else. I was extremely frustrated with the lack of organization as the restaurant was very busy and there was no process by which to get seats. We stood around with a lot of other people and depended on the... More

Food was okay. Service was good. The only place in town open. The popcorn was good. The burger was overlooked and the fries were cold.

Sat in a booth at the front window. My grandson enjoyed watching people going by. Played a few tunes on the jukebox.

This is an excellent restaurant. Good service and excellent whitefish. The place gets crowded, but the care was great. Remember in Grand Marais, no air conditioning.
