Butch’s Beach Burritos has been family owned and operated since 1987. With two locations in the idyllic summer towns of Grand Haven and Spring Lake, we are renowned for delicious Mexican cuisine that includes our original family recipes and fresh-made salsas. We offer a casual, ‘come as you are’ setting, and our menu not only includes our famous burritos, but tacos, enchiladas, nachos, specialty hot dogs, salads, and sides - including choices for the little amigos! The beef burrito and cheese dogs we enjoyed were worthy of a return visit. A pink lemonade was also enjoyable ... the beach-like atmosphere near the boardwalk and lighthouse added to an already incredible Michigan Lake atmosphere ... we will return the next time we camp at Grand Haven State Park ...

We have been going here for years, but this time will probably be the last as the food was not fun, not tasty, nothing fun. We have always looked forward to this place when we visit Grand Haven. OH well, have good memories, will have to look for some other place now ....

I am from Texas and I really enjoyed this burrito. It was a cross between Taco Bell and a gourmet style burrito. It was huge and delicious! I would definitely eat here again!

I love burritos and have had them in many states and Mexico. I ordered a chicken burrito and asked for lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese and sour cream. I got lettuce and some crumbs of chicken in a stale flour tortilla. The most tasteless thing I've ever not eaten. I took note that all the other restaurants nearby had long lines waiting to get in or place orders. This restaurant did not. I was in and out with my party of 2 in 5 minutes. Won't be going there again.

it's all about location, the quality of this places food and service would put it out of business, except for the ever refreshing pool of tourist. almost any place serving Mexican type cusine in the area has better food.

Located across the street from the channel to Lake Michigan with a dune behind it, this is a wonderful litle spot to grab a quick bite before heading to or from the beach, or to bring along to the beach. A Grand Haven tradition!

When camping at the state park, we got food from this little take out vendor. We purchased the big burrito, taco and small burrito. So fresh and tasty with perfect seasoning. Lots of people lined up to order. If you are in the area make this a stop for delicious food.

We took family visiting from Denmark to Butch's for dinner. We arrived at 7:50. We were told they were closed and we weren't allowed in. We told them we had family visiting from Denmark, no dice, no dinner. We checked the clock, they had closed ten minutes early and tuned us away. Not a good way to do business.

Burritos and tacos within walking distance of the beach. Great tasting salsa as well. Cheap eats. Fast, friendly. Little shack on the street so don't expect fine dining, but the taste is awesome! Can take to go or eat at the picnic tables. Pretty big parking lot for such a little shack. Butch and his wife still man the counter after 30 years!

This place should be declared a national monument. Coney Island has Nathan's, also great, but this place is legendary. The burrito- dogs are great, next time will try a regular burrito. Right at the mouth of the river and Lake Michigan.

A staple on the strip every since I can remember. Picked up a quick bite to eat at the beach. Was fine, nothing special, not bad either. Salsa is very good!More than likely will go back again next year. Busy but very short wait, they move them thru very quickly.

Busy walkup casual restaurant. There was a line, but it moved quickly. Take out or a few tables available outside. There are also tables available across the street overlooking the water. Besides burritos and tacos, they have salads and hot dogs. Tasty burrito and soft taco. Good portion well worth the reasonable prices. I enjoyed the burrito, but after seeing a burrito salad, wish I had that instead. Also delicious pink lemonade.
