Great Cider

This is a great brewery. They don't have food, but you can easily get it delivered, or bring it. They have a virtual menu with links to close by restaurants that deliver to them. You just put in your table number and it appears! The beer was very good. The Green Apple Cider was the bomb! I even got a super-sized to go can. They can do growlers or custom cans, they also offer many beers in 6 packs to go. The staff was awesome! The barstools were the most comfortable ones I have ever sat on. The vibe of this place is uber cool. The front of the building basically opens up to the street and there is outdoor seating as well.

Awesome Seltzers!

My husband and I visited Odd Side Ales based on a recommendation from a co-worker! I ordered a flight of seltzers and my husband had a flight a beers. They were both very good. We ordered food from the Toasted Pickle. Great atmosphere! Would highly recommend!

Love the unique beers here so good

If you have a hankering or a curiosity for some unique tasty beer then welcome to Odd Side Ales. The different variations of Hazel’s Nuts, a coffee stout aged in bourbon barrels, will keep you warm on a cold Michigan day. While there is nothing odd about that in particular the Bluegrass Breakfast with coffee, maple syrup, bacon, and pecans should hit the unique factor also w Rum Ham, a salty sweet kick or perhaps the Banana Nut French Toast ale? It doesn’t matter what you fancy as they hit all various styles w IPA’s, sours, and pale ales. You won’t a more unique place in the area to stop by grab a bite to eat from the various local restaurant’s that deliver to your tab. We picked The Toasted Pickle and it didn’t disappoint with beer battered fries and Nashville Hottie sandwich that stand out. One last thing in addition to a brewery it also houses a artisan coffee bar inside. Kid Friendly $$

Quick beer

Stopped in for a quick beer while watching some college football good selection of beers from various ranges of flavors prices are relatively reasonable. While the wife’s away shopping, might as well grab a brew. So love Grand Haven and everything about this town… Relaxing and great bars!!

Good beers, no food

I couldn’t resist trying the Ham stout. It was strong and unusual. I didn’t really detect a ham flavor, but did enjoy it. Then I switched to a blood orange hoppy beer instead. That was more to my taste. Nice selection, and you can order food from nearby places, but this is a place to go for beer, not food.

Great beer variety & atmosphere

Great variety of beer and cozy atmosphere. Very knowledgeable staff too. Enjoyed the Citra IPA, Dank Jr and the Mocha Mayan Stout. No food is served here, however you can get local food delivered to your table.

Good beer, less than stellar service

I walked in and there was no hostess or server at any of the entrances. After standing there for five minutes, I finally asked the bartender. He said you order and then you sit down. No signage of that anywhere. I had a mango pineapple wheat beer and it was delicious. Then I wanted to use the bathroom before I left. ZERO signage and it was in the very back. No bathroom sign nothing. Again I had to ask the bartender. No waitress or nothing. And there were several people wandering aimlessly to find the bathroom. If you don’t mind zero service whatsoever ever and like good beer check this place out.

Large variety of beers!

Large, bright, newly renovated spot. A lot of beers on tap and all excellent. Huge variety. Brought in a sandwich from Toasted Pickle across the road. Perfect afternoon lunch stop.

Wife liked the Coffee Stout

Went here two times in one weekend. Service good, no food but can order in from local. Tried two light beers and they were not for me. My wife liked the coffee Carmel mixed stout. Maybe they are not so good at lagers. Big inside too.

I guess I should have known with the location that this place would be loud. My husband had two pints and they were enjoyable. I was disappointed that there was not anything for non drinkers besides water. They do allow you to order food in. You order at the bar and that is the only time you really see or interact with staff.

A brewery not a restaurant

Oddsides is improving their selection of solid beers, and has a wide variety of offeri ngs including wine and cider. Would do well to keep some standard favorites available at all times. Not sure why it is classified as a restaurant as it does not serve any food of its own.

Great place. A lot of space with many options for seating. Huge beer selection. Over 3days I had about 7 beers and they were all outstanding. The bartenders were really friendly and very helpful in choosing beers

Odd Side Ales.....for coffee??

On a late Saturday morning, we needed a coffee fix while in Grand Haven. As tempted as I was to try samples that early from Odd Side, alas I was relegated to coffee only...and it was excellent! Odd Side itself here is inviting, with an open atmosphere, lots of wood, and ample bar and table seating. Even for a Saturday morning, there was a decent sampling of people here. We ordered 2 Americano coffees to go...and they were excellent, very smooth and enjoyable. One of the better cups of coffee I've had lately! The staff here were very friendly. Now to plan visit back to try that beer.........

Horrible service!!!

We were looking forward to checking this place out. We sat at the bar, did the QR scan for our drinks, then WAITED for someone to acknowledge us, smile at us, make eye contact, SOMETHING!! ... NOTHING!! after almost ten minutes, we walked out! Every place after that, EXCELLENT service! SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

Love me some craft beer

Fun brewery a block from the Grand River boardwalk. Good beer and atmosphere. We visit them on our yearly visit to Grand Haven and they keep us coming back. No food.
