Just kidding! Cranberries Cafe is a wonderful quaint and historic gathering spot. There...One can keep it simple, or go complex, for meals, drinks, desserts and anything in between! The service is very good, the specials wonderful, and supported by numerous "regular" selections on the menu,...too. Over the years, we have learned, and do appreciate, the unique history and that Cranberries is not a "faster" food restaurant. We're pretty sure the service speed is directly related to our personal level of hunger! (Ha!) Whether it;s medallions of beef, sauteed perch, the whitefish, calamari, fried pickles, special drinks like chocolate or dirty Martinis, and desserts etc..are all made from scratch, with care, and are supremely delicious. Got to say...we just capped off another great evening at Cranberries Cafe.More

My husband and I met friends here for lunch. Everyone ordered something different and they all enjoyed their food. I had the mac n cheese with cole slaw & a small piece of bread - OK - but not great. The mac n cheese was...good but a little rich for me so couldn't eat it all. Cole slaw was so-so and I didn't care for the bread - a little sour tasting. For dessert, we shared their big chocolate cake. One piece was enough for the four of us. A bit rich but good. Decent amount of seating inside and very friendly wait service!More

Went there at 12:30 in the afternoon for lunch. We ordered the Cranberry Salad, macaroni and cheese, cheese and broccoli soup, gyro sandwiches. The cheese and broccoli soup was very salty and sort of had a velvetta cheese flavor. The salad dressing was overwhelmingly sweet,...so much that it could not be eaten. The gyros were rather bland and only had 2 slices of meat inside. The mac and cheese was okay. There was only 1 waitress so service was slow even though there was only 3 other tables with 2 to 4 people.More

Cranberries' regular menu has lots of choices of soup, salad, sandwiches, salads and entrees. but they always have several specials on the menu, even at lunch. Service is friendly. I don't want to say service is slow, but you may wait a few minutes for...your food. But that is well worth it because everything is cooked from scratch and really, really yummy. They also serve dinner and have a full bar with a great wine list.More

The atmosphere is quaint, but the food was good. It was a quiet afternoon on a snowy and cold day. The wait staff was wonderful and the price was right.

Go slow down mainstreet or you'll miss it! As always, Cranberries has the small town charm, along with good personal service and great food that makes it such a good experience. The chefs specials are always good, and there is a good selection of local...brewed beer and a well stocked wine list. The food is very good. We had the planked whitefish and perch dinners, with soup, salad, and hard apple cider to drink. Got to say, the desserts are also great! We shared a piece of home made carrot cake with vanilla ice cream. Yum! What a great way to start the New Year! THey haMore

Food is always good here. My wife loves the Poison Apple Martini and when done right...it is layered in colors...there is a graduation of color in the glass and it is a great drink to have. They have about 5 Michigan beers on tap at...all times and they rotate, there is normally a Michigan beer for everyone there. The owner of the restaurant is right there working the floor and greeting guests, she obviously is in sync with the operation of the restaurant. Goodrich is a tiny town and from M-15's perspective, there are only two stoplights for Goodrich. Hence a great restaurant like this is unique. This was our second New Year's Eve in a row for having dinner there. They keep a low key about New Year's and that's fine by me, nice place to have dinner on the last night of the year.More

Stopped in for lunch after a cross country meet. We were a little surprised that the restaurant was not busy despite all of the good reviews. We were not disappointed. The Manhattan chowder was great and we all enjoyed our lunch choices. The three of...us also shared and loved the huge piece of chocolate cake. We would go back to Goodrich just for this restaurant.More

We love this little cafe in downtown Goodrich! Their prime sandwiches are a favorite, and the made-in-house chocolate cake is to die for!

We'd been to Cranberries many times, but never for lunch. So, it was a good fit, when a friend wanted to meet at a local restaurant for lunch. We went to the "front" door...but the lunch door was the next door! Ha! Once in, it...was quiet and pleasant. It wasn't long before the server came over pleasantly greeted us. We ordered Angus burgers - deluxe, with potato fries, Chicken salad, coffee, and ice tea. The food was good, the service prompt, and we were left alone to visit and enjoy our time! Thank You...We'll be back again, soon!More
