Delicious food, kind waitress. Everything was great, the prices are ok and the ambiance is very lovely. If you go to Matrafured, I highly recommend this place.

We had a nice lunch yesterday. The food was fine, staff was polite and welcoming, kitchen was fast in a good way. The iced coffee was exactly how it should be.

Maybe we had to wait a few minutes because there were lots of guest, but it was worth. The food was delecious and they were very kind not only with us, but with our dog to, he got fresh water!

We visited the restaurant because of the inviting photos on their website. It's a pity I didn't read the critical reviews before our visit. So, the food was terrible due to low quality ingredients. For example, the rice with vegetables was defrosted frozen carrots and...peas, and the carrot was so soggy and dehydrated that I found it inedible. To cure myself, I ordered extra side dish: I wanted fried sweet potatoes but the waitress said, I can only choose from the menu -- so I ordered mushed sweet potatoes. I couldn't believe that it was tasteless, filled with some flour and sugar. We spent over 12000 HUF in the restaurant and I left the place hungry and incredibly disappointed. This place is not about serving the visitors with good food. It's a money-making place to get as much profit as possible with the least amount of expenses. Those who like proper food, I do not recommend the place at all! ... And the waiters tried to be kind but it did not feel genuine.More

Excellent choice for eating in Mátrafüred. The food are extremely delicious, and the atmosphere is really nice. Super kind and caring staff.

The waitresses were very polite, patient and helpful. Every meal was delicious, and the sizes were just perfect. It’s an outstanding place in the area for sure. But I would recommend reserve places before lunch because it can be crowded.

The food is awesome. I loved the palóc soup. That soup was one of the most delicious food in a while.

As we stayed in the similarily named 4 Evszak Hegyihotel at Matrahaza, we got vouchers to get discount in the restaurant. The service went rather slow as only one waitress served the room (though the upper part was closed, so the restaurant was running on...50%) The food was less attracting than on the pictured menu, but it is usual in many other restaurants as well 😊 The whole evening was average until we got the drinks. The 'almafröccs' was served in a 3dl glass, meanwhile it was in the menu as 4dl. I asked the waitress, and after a while she came back that it is a printing error in the menu, and they have this drink in 3dl and 5dl form, but not 4dl. At closing the bill, to my surprise they charged 600HUF for the 3dl drink meanwhile on the menu 4dl was for 500HUF. Asking a correction they first refused it, then they said 10% service charge is applicable (but still 500 + 10% is not equal to 600). Other drinks were charged by the computer according to the price list, without service charge. As there were only three such drinks, and they refused to correct the bill for the 3dl amount, finally we left. For 1 euro they successfully ruined our evening... Interesting to note that later in the hotel they charged 33% more for the breakfast compared to their pre-offered and agreed price. Is it a coincidence?More
