We happened upon this place purely by accident. We were visiting the 48th parallel Harley Dealership in Gaylord and since we were off the highway decided to grab a bite to eat. Saw the sign "Steaks and burgers" (or something close to that) and knew my husband would like it. We had no idea it was a brewery! When you... More

The food and atmosphere of this place used to be amazing but after many years it just isn't that way any more. It's an interesting place but the way the set up is, it gets loud quickly. Not really a place to take kids, date night, or meetings.

I'm sure if we visited on a regular Friday or Saturday night things would be more lively. The food selection was standard but with a pleasant twist. Being a winery and a brewery the selecting of beer and wine was vast. Homemade cream sodas also on the menu are a sweet change from your everyday Coke or Pepsi. The food... More

Nice place, good service and food. Prime rib for $32? C'mon! Steaks, none over 16 oz., were crazy expensive too. Our waiter was great, I can't remember his name...a big guy. He worked hard to keep us satisfied. We don't mind spending a little extra on vacation, but this was nuts.

We ate at the Big Buck because it was next to our hotel. Spectacular interior and the food was quite good. Everything tasted fresh. I though the prices a bit high but everything up north is costly. I would recommend this eatery/brewery.

Just saw the mirbcrobrewry off of I 75 so stopped to have a beer in the early afternoon while on vacation. Good selection and service. Clean. Enjoyed the taxidermy, especially the buck with fake antlers and the bear with a dog-fence collar! Did not have any food.

We were camping at Hartwick Pines State Park and journeyed a few miles north of Grayling to find this restaurant and brewery. My husband and I both loved our food, and enjoyed the "lodge" decor. The cook even came to our table to ask about our food. We would definitely recommend a stop if in the area.

Hubby and I came here with our 2 year old son for Mothers Day. The food was decent and prices are a little high for what you get. I recommend the fish n chips with coleslaw. Hubby plate of Pasta was pretty small for the price. He said it was an ok dish. Wasn't very busy but seems like every... More
