It's only a block and a half from my art studio to Coho on Main St. But in the busy summer season, we sometimes forget this seasonal dining option. Last week, however, we needed a break from cooking at home and splashed out for dinner there. It was lovely to sit on the screened back deck and enjoy the evening... More

I was a little surprised at the lack of options in Frankfort for a nice dinner. In looking at our choices we opted for Coho. We ate on the back porch, which is "on the water". Unfortunately, the view is more of a parking lot. Nonetheless, the choice was a good one. The food was good. While most places in... More

The food was creative and fresh - excellent taste. The back porch overlooking the marina and harbor is the best location. The wait for delivering the food was a little long, but worth the wait.

We had a large party and were seated immediately. We ordered appetizers which were brought quickly and were delicious. We had the warm leek and goat cheese dip and the hummus plate. Both were great. Good selection of wine is available including some Michigan Wines which we love. I had the Whitefish which was cooked very well and was fresh... More

Dined on the patio on a Sunday evening. Server did the bare minimum. Not poor service, just nothing more than absolutely necessary. The mussels were cooked properly but we're nothing special. Served with room temperature sliced baguette. Dry. Meh. Two salads we ordered had enough dressing on them to do 10 salads, but the plates they were on couldn't accommodate... More

It was lunch and we were looking for something light to eat. We chose Coho because they had several salads listed n the menu. Everyone was seated on the back porch which had a decent view but was screened so offered an outdoor feel with no exposure to the elements. Got a great Cobb salad with lots of interesting ingredients.... More

Absolutely wonderful food and service every time we've been there. It's nicer than just another Northern Michigan dive bar, it is a nice, casual dining environment.

Spent the night at Jacobson's Marina and dined at Coho for a return visit from previous year. Our group of 4 enjoyed seafood entrees including: sesame seared tuna, Arctic char, trout and walleye. Entrees served with fresh seasonal veggie (asparagus) and starch. Prior to dinner, we were served 4 dinner rolls and olive oil. My husband asked for extra bread... More

A lot of local people recommended me of the restaurant, so I decided to check it out. And the experience was awesome. The fish there was very fresh and yum:) I ordered white fish and it tasted like it just came out of the lake (which is actually true). I also love the great view of the lakeside, and the... More

Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is so enjoyable. There is always a waiting line during the summer season. Be patient and have a drink at the bar.
