Excellent food with German influence. Good, friendly service - prompt - very little waiting time. Salads were plentiful and came with the special dinners.

Delicious food (and plenty of it), a wide variety of beers. Shops in the basement that are worth a visit.

We have had dinner at the Bavarian Inn several times, and it never disappoints. Frankenmuth is a frequent day trip for us, and the Bavarian Inn is a great place to eat. They serve a lot of food though, so we take a lot home with us

Had lunch here. Great atmosphere and good food. Wonderful service. Did have the Famous Chicken Dinner but didn't think it was world famous. Two pieces of chicken was actually a chicken breast cut in half!

Extremely busy but service was better than expected. Just had a brat but it was very good. Definitely should get the dessert sampler - outstanding!

My husband and I visit Frankenmuth at least once when we visit our home state. In the past we have gotten the larger meals, but find our appetites have gotten smaller with age. On this trip I chose the ham and cheese pretzel roll sandwich. It was delicious. My husband ordered a luncheon portion of the German sausages. Everything was... More

This place is a huge, industrial restaurant. The decor is all in a Bavarian style from the Grimm's Fairy Tale murals to the large beer steins and the "apfel strudel" for dessert. But the food is only so-so. And none of us really liked the "famous" chicken. The highlight was the wiener schnitzel. The sausage platter would have been very... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you didn't care for the chicken, or sausage. But, happy to hear you enjoyed the wiener schnitzel. Although my family loved their food, my hubby's sausage platter was just okay. Very cute setting. Silverware could be cleaner...

We have taken many trips to frankenmuth over the years and have never been to the Bavarian inn til this trip. This was the worst dining experience we have ever had in this town. The hostess advised us just follow the carpet without telling us the dining options. When we were seated the service from the waitress was horrible she... More

I would like to apologize for you having a bad experience while you were here with us. The lobby greeter would have directed you around to the dining rooms that were open by direction of the carpeted walkway. The hostess for that dining room should have asked your preference for lunch or dinner menu needed. We do offer both anytime... More

I've been enjoying chicken dinners here for many years and it's still delicious! We stopped in for dinner yesterday and there was only a short wait. We had the family style chicken dinner and everyone enjoyed it! Buttered noodles...yum! Our server was very friendly, but very slow. Everything was served hot and fresh and we enjoyed our meal.
