It was good to be back at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. The last time we were in Frankenmuth we were across the street and were highly disappointed...now we feel that we are home. The meal was fantastic and the sides are to die for. The...atmosphere as always is fun and exciting. The accordian player had tables of people singing along with her as she played and took requests. Our server, Anna B., was very good and very attentive to our needs and wants. She is a wonderful server.More

Very good food in a very neat atmosphere. A bit pricey in my opinion but I knew that going in. Lots of gift shops and a bakery as well. Pretty neat place overall.

This was a great surprise with how good the food was and our waiter, Seth, was just great also. We loved the fried chicken and we had enough food for an army! We also loved that they take reservations. If I'm in this area again,...I will definitely eat here!More

It took a few moments to receive an acknowledgement from the greeter, who was standing in the hall between the two main dining rooms. From here, guests are escorted to tables. Because of previous experiences, it was decided to dine in the Edelweiss room. This...large room has a somewhat classy and homey décor. Once seated, there was a fast recognition. Drinks had to be requested, but were refilled promptly thereafter. As an entire chicken dinner was not desired, substitutions were allowed without any resistance. Numerous orders were placed, and each was received in an expeditious manner. The chicken tasted great – as usual. Here, waitpersons are donned in German attire. Prices are a little higher than average, but the atmosphere makes it worth every cent. For years, this world-famous restaurant has had very good food.More

My husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening after golfing and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was amazing!!!! She suggested the perfect drink for me and what meat to have besides the chicken. Our dinner was amazing. We even had leftovers...for dinner the next day!! Absolutely a place you must enjoy a meal at when in Frankenmuth!!!More

Felt like we were in a nice Bavarian Restaurant. They had a nice sampler dish with German Rouladen, Schnitzel and their famous chicken. I had the sausage selection, all very good. Our dishes were served with potato puffs and sauerkraut, both delicious. Service was efficient...and friendly. Without reservations we only waited a short 20 min. We went shopping in the lower level and they texted us when a table was available. They had good spacing in the restaurant and all staff had masks on. Nicely done.More

Yes, you can order family style if you are solo. There was a lot of food. If I ever visit again I will order a regular meal. Chicken was good and not skimpy. Enough left over to take home for lunch. Not sure about the...section I sat in but everytime someone walked by it was like a train was passing the way the floor bounced. My server functionally performed her job but wasn't very attentive. This seems to be an issue with many servers. I have often observed the 4 tops getting much more attention than the single diner. Why do restaurant owners still have carpeting in their facilities. I have never seen one that looks clean, this being no exception.More

If you go to Frankenmuth and want a quality family dinner you must go to Bavarian Inn! The menu may sound like another's but the taste is an experience above. If you are lucky Ashley will be your server. She was so good we recommend...to her manager that she becomes the next trainer. We have been coming to Frankenmuth for over a decade and on our next trip know exactly where to eat.More

Overall it's definitely worth visiting if you have never been. Great decor, really nice employees, and a fun theme. Tourist spot so everything is a little expensive. Only downside was the I didn't find the food to be as expected, especially for the price. Please...don't let that discourage you if you have never been. I know many people do talk about the food so maybe just an off night for my taste buds.More
