Best meal I've had in the area - beats both Zehnders and the Bavarian Inns fancy chicken dinners lol. LOVED the mushroom soup.
I've been hesitant to stop in because its just me and my kiddo, but the menu has always looked so good and this kid couldn't be more into charcuterie (like she would literally eat cheese and meat and bread ALL day if that were an option). So we finally stopped in on our latest visit to the area. Kiddo had just turned 6 and told our amazing waitress ALL about it, and the waitress surprised her with a brownie with a sparkler in it and a bday card after our meal. It was so sweet - service was phenomenal.
We loved being able to sit outside, people watching is fun and the patio area is really cute. The blankets on the chairs are a nice touch.

Dined in June. Soft pretzels with cheese and mustard dip, chicken tenders and lobster roll. All delicious. Wait staff very attentive and provided blankets for outside dining as it was unreasonably cold. Next time I'm getting the stuffed zucchini ap which looked AMAZING!

We stopped in for lunch as not much was open in Frankenmuth to be honest. This restaurant is super cute and staff was very friendly. The happy hour Prosecco was a great way to start our little getaway. We ordered a build your own chacuterie which was good but we didn’t order stuff we would normally but there was no way to really know what kind of cheese you’re getting and our server was new and didn’t offer too much insight. You won’t get full off the boards so if you’re hungry you’ll have to order a main dish as well. Their bread and olive oil mix was one of the best I have ever had. Order that! All in all we enjoyed this restaurant.

I’m sure a lot of people like this “bougie” place, but I wasn’t impressed. My son had pasta and the portion was really small for $18. If he wanted to add chicken, they would charge an extra $6. My daughter and I had the chicken wrap and the taste of the cheese was overwhelming - that’s all we could taste. It tasted strange. The water glasses were small - had to ask for ice. Had to ask for more tea. Our waiter took our order and dropped off the food but ignored us the rest of the time. Not worth the cost.

The food was too salty and we were very disappointed with the pricing of their Old Fashioneds. Their standard came with Travers City Bourbon which we tried earlier in the day and wasn't what we consider to be very good. We requsted Basil Hayden but was not told there would be an upcharge. When we got our bill, the upcharge was $9.00 per drink. 21.00 for an Old fashioned. Quite excessive. We will not be going back there.

This is a wonderful restaurant with great food and service. There is also an outdoor seating area. We came for lunch. The fish dip came with bread/crackers and jelly. The Cubean sandwich was delicious. Cannot go wrong eating here.

We had reservations. Our table was set and ready when we got there. This is a really great place that is so different. We ordered a charcuterie board for the 6 of and the pretzel with dip. Both were wonderful. We all ordered different entrees which were huge. A couple split the grilled cheese and the kitchen did that for them before bringing out the meal. All loved their meals. I had the mushroom and Gouda soup which I was hesitant to order. I have to say, I’ll drive back just for the soup. The place rocks! From service, to food to ambiance

Last time we tried to eat here last year we waited 45 minutes and never received our food and finally left. This time was a complete reversal and was great.
We used the website to get on the wait list and was alerted when a table was ready. We walked over and was sat right away.
Server was AWESOME and food was good. We got the Spanish charcuterie board, bacon cheese dip, and a ceaser salad and hubby and I split it all.
Bacon cheese dip was really good and the salad was large enough for 2 with the other food. All the items on the charcuterie board were very tasty and we completely enjoyed the entire meal.
Note: Menu indicates bacon dip comes with corn chips. Should say tortilla chips (corn chips are like fritos, which would have been really good by the way and hubby was a bit disappointed it was tortilla chips and not corn chips).
Only comments I would give for improvement would be 2 things. The bottled water they serve at the table is a nice touch, but need to have ice too. Also the music was excessive loud. It was hard to hear the server and had to talk very loudly to be able to order and to speak to each other across the table...need to turn it down just a bit.
Would certainly recommend based on this experience.

What a great place. Three of us went for a meal recently. It was a real European experience. The highlights of this place are “the boards” upon which different combinations of cheese and appetizers (charcuterie) are served. Start with one of each. Also . . The stuffed mushrooms were decadent. They have a substantial list of wines, drinks, aperitifs, and digestifs that will satisfy anyone. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Make sure you reserve a table on OpenTable because this place is happenin’.

Our service was excellent! We were seated promptly. Trying to put succinctly what was “off”.
We were accustomed to bread and crackers on the table. Nothing here. My meal included a sandwich and side salad. Both were good initially but the vinaigrette soaked into the sandwich because it was all on the same dish. I had a good half sandwich and good salad. My partner had pasta which he enjoyed but again, the pasta came alone in a bowl. No bread as is usual with a pasta dish.
We had cannolis and coffee. The cannolis were a disappointment- very bland. Coffee was good but lukewarm.
The kicker came when we paid the bill. Our server was standing with us as I was “offered” options for gratuity. I need to select my own gratuity (we are usually generous). I felt very uncomfortable. I know this has not happened to us before as we have been here at least yearly for several years.
We will try again but it will be a little while.

Prost is an eclectic wine bar. The menu is enticing and our selections (Italian Meat Loaf sandwich and Curried Cauliflower wrap) were excellent. The staff served us well with their outgoing personalities. We enjoyed the ambiance and recommend this restaurant. Interestingly, they have a post card that they will mail for you that is cute and clever. If you are traveling as we were, this is great way to communicate with friends and family. They even pay the postage.

Service was great, but that is as good as it gets. The BLT might have had one piece of bacon on it, everything was chopped before putting on the sandwich, which is fine, it just wasn't much. My husband got the Prost club and he thought it had enough meat on it. Fresh bread was a nice touch. It wasn't easy to converse since the conversation at the bar was loud. It was ok, but most likely we won't be back since there are so many other options in Frankenmuth.

Having not been to Frankenmuth in many years we discovered that they opened this Wine Bar & Charcuterie establishment just after we were here the last time so we made it a point to spend our anniversary celebration here. It was nice to spend a couple of hours here being spoiled by Aaron Brennan our bartenders. Between the two of them and the wonderful choices on the Charcuterie board and wines or other drinks that we saw were mixed and served it was an awesome experience. Even spoiled with a small brownie with sparkler and Rosa-sparkling wine. We will be back on our next trip to Frankenmuth they have been on my mind for the last 2 months on and off and I apologize I didn’t get to writing about this great spot until now.

Found this place while visiting Frankenmuth. Great food, exceptional service. Nadine was fabulous! She was thoughtful, attentive, personable and super knowledgeable about the menu and the city. Made great recommendations for dinner and sight seeing. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Prost was our absolute favorite restaurant in Frakenmuth. The food was so good, amazing wine and fantastic service. Prost is located right on Main Street so it’s easy to get to. Highly recommend eating here, make sure if you’re going on the weekend that you make a reservation.
