Quick trip to Frankenmuth while family from Baltimore were visiting.... Theeee ONLY choices would be Zehnder's or Bavarian Inn; we chose Zehnder's this time. We were greeted promptly and our name was taken down - 25-30 minute wait and the hostess invited us to visit the gift shop while we waited for our table. Sounded good. After 15 minutes we... More

I had the all you can eat chicken dinner and there were 5 courses to it I believe (sorry I lost track) the food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend for dinner. Price was mid range but well worth the cost. Make sure your really hungry when you go.

My cousin is visiting from the Philippines and took her to Frankenmuth. Before we did any site seeing, we ate lunch at Zehnder's. We all ordered the 3 pc chicken meal, with a side of noodles and chicken liver. The fried chicken is was good, nothing spectacular. The noodles, cole slaw and liver was excellent however. She enjoyed the food... More

The so called famous chicken was so terrible it was dry as anything even the dark meat. For the price paid i expected much better. Even the Viener schnitzel was way over cooked. Very disappointed in this meal. Don't bother eating at this place. Maybe the weekends the food is better

I had been looking forward to a real German home cooked meal with the whole German experience...not the case. We asked for a few items on the menu, but was told, "you have no choice, you get everything". Basically the American population is eating themselves into extinction....The chicken pieces were small and dry, the batter/coating looked nothing like the way... More

This was my first visit to Frankenmuth so my cousin said we had to go to Zehnder's. Wow - an over abundance of food! It's not high cuisine just down home cooking, German style. It's just like a family gathering. The rooms look like your aunt's house, and the variety of food is kind of odd - cottage cheese, relishes,... More

I was travelling with a group of 6 into the Frakenmuth area this past Saturday September 24th 2016. We have eaten at Zenders in the past and were looking forward to eating there again. All 6 of us will never go back. The restaurant was very busy as one of the halls was booked with a wedding. No big deal... More

Friendly staff, great food, and treats from the bake shop are a must. We don't do the oversized, too much to eat meals any more. Too much waste. There are many choices on the menu.

This was a first time visit so I wasn't sure what to expect. Our server, Johnnie F. was terrific as well as entertaining. It was the end of the day but he treated us as if we were the only table there. We started with beverages, which were refilled before they were emptied. Our soup was fantastic. Then there was...
