Chill atmosphere, awesome staff, and great food. Would highly recommend for any beer lover. The tap list is huge, and has something for everyone. Don’t forget to grab a burger. It’s in the restaurants name for a reason 🤙
Nice bar with friendly staff. My wife and I come here about once a month just to get away from the house for an hour or two. Just recently I tried one of their burgers and it was really good. I’d defiantly recommend the burger...and fry basket.More
This is a typical sports bar; 40 craft beers, TVs everywhere, etc.
I went with 15 friends on an NFL Sunday afternoon. We made a reservation for 20 so we shouldn’t have surprised anyone. Probably 25 other patrons come and go over the next 3.5...hours...
The (only?) waitress takes drink orders and brings them out. We order food about midway through the first quarter. The bar is running a $2 beer special on talls, which is what everyone orders. When we order refills, the waitress takes our glasses two at a time and refills them, because, “we don’t have any more glasses.” Halftime comes, halftime ends, no food. A couple of appetizers make it out early in the third quarter. Some are fine, some are cold, but waitress is hustling and still refilling our original glasses. More food arrives near the end of the third quarter. Waitress then reveals their regular cook is in the hospital.
My order gets “misplaced” so I get my food in the middle of the 4th, about two hours after I ordered it. They discount my bill, I tip the waitress generously for her effort and swear I’ll never step foot inside this place again.
This place is set up to be good, but I doubt it will be here in six months.More
New place for us. Thought we would give it a try and glad we did. Burgers were great. Build your own can’t go wrong with that. The Caprisi burger was very good. But the fettuccine Alfredo was off the chart. The beer flights were good....Ok so that’s the positive. Now to the needs a lot of work. We walked in and place was not busy at all. We were greeted from the bartender across the bar to sit where we want. Which is fine however it took like at least 10-15 minutes to get a drink order and menus. And being a tap house they did not give us a beer menu. We then ordered got our food and basically had it finished before we were asked if everything was ok. Nice place just lacks attentiveness. For a newer place that should be priority. But there new still working out kinks I’m sure. We would definitely go back because food was very good and I’m sure the service will improve.More
Stopped in on a Friday evening to check the place out. Pleasantly surprised with the business. Not as dark as it appears from the outside. They have booths, tables and bar stools around the bar for seating.
They have a menu for the many choices...of beer. The menu has appetizers, salads and burgers. Off menu items were a four piece cod fish dinner, calamari and clam chowder soup.
We ordered the bacon cheddar burgers with fries. It comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. You have your choice of buns, brioche, sesame seed, ciabatta and pretzel.
The burgers were very tasty and juicy, they didn't need any condiments like ketchup or mustard to improve them.
The fries were just as good. Larger than normal fries, but smaller than the Texas fries. Hard to stop eating them!
A little pricey for a burger and fries, but worth a repeat visit?More
Stopped in on Saturday morning at 11:45 for lunch. Burger sounds good but guess what? No burgers until noon. Wtf. They only offer brunch which was breakfast options. I would have chosen somewhere with breakfast in the name if I wanted breakfast. They won't even...let you see the lunch menu or put your order in before 12. Destined to fail with that kind of thought process. Very unlikely we will bother to go back. Waitress was friendly but hey bar. No signs on the door. Needless to say we didn't wait around so I can't even say their food was good or bad.More
Went to check out “soft opening “ of Burger Bar and Tap. Their menu is still limited, but growing. I had a burger w fries and wife had salad. Both were delicious and service was fantastic. I love great Micros and they had 40 taps,...most of which were micros. They are adding pizza and additional sandwiches. Also have wings. They are in the shopping strip on the corner of Hill and Fenton Road next to the Secretary of Stat’s office.More
