We've eaten at New Mandarin many times and have always had a great meal no matter what we have had. You get a lot of good food for the money.

This restaurant is located in a decidedly unimpressive strip mall. But the restaurant is actually quite attractive on the inside and larger than you might guess from outside. We started off with egg drop and wonton soups both of which were quite different in taste to what we are accustomed to. We thought it was odd to have tofu in... More

We went for dinner and I am afraid that the standards for Chinese food are a little loose around here. The vegetarian spring rolls were oily greasy shells filled with unrecognizable mush. Our entree mushu vegetable was ok but the pancakes were grocery store flour tortillas. At that point we gave up and left. Also the restaraunt is located in... More

The food here is consistently very good. There is also a bar with a small but nice selection of wines.

Five of us ordered four dishes. They were huge. Easily had enough for a sixth person. Particularly of note was the Walnut Shrimp. What an incredibly simple yes outstandingly delicious dish. Can't wait to go back on our next trip to Detroit.

The services is just great friendly and very helpful. The food are all delicious and the portions aren't too crazy. We stopped here every two weeks for over a year. Whatever... More

We liked this place before but over the last few years they seem to have only improved. They remodeled improving the interior but the food seems to have improved too. This restaurant is so close to our home that we often go there for the convenience but then enjoy our meal so much we go home saying that was actually... More

Have always enjoyed the food here. Not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant. A cut above. Have enjoyed many meals here.

Torn on where to get Chinese food and we were so pleased to try this place. The sesame chicken was great and the shrimp was very tasty. We had plenty to eat with very little left overs. We will go back here again!
