Had takeout from here last night on the recommendation of a friend. I've traveled a lot and had food poisoning many times. This is the only time I actually thought I might die. I'll spare you the details, but I couldn't get out of the...bathroom for 4 hours. It was a hazmat scene. I was supposed to go on a business trip tomorrow and I just canceled because I can barely stand today. Not my best experience.More

Food is well prepared and ready quickly for take out, as well as being good value for the amount of food you receive.

The food is authentic Thai and very good. Prices are low/fair. You can feed 4-5 on about $40. Selection is good as well.

I have eaten at other Thai establishments, but NOBODY does it better than Sue and her team. In fact, I just had Gang Pla Sapparod (Fish Curry). Yummy is an under statement! Come hungry because portions are generous.

Remember that Lunchtime is the main meal, in some cultures. you get lower prices, then. You'll also get a larger serving of rice chips. Tell Your server that You'd like Your spices to be MILD.

My lunch here yesterday was disappointing. The Pad Thai wa a mass of noodles with a watery sauce and some bean sprouts.

I enjoyed our visit to Bangkok kitchen. This place does mostly carryout even though the restaurant is large enough for sixty diners I would estimate. We were the only ones dining in. Two vegetarians enjoyed their curry noodle vegetables, and tofu vegetables in brown sauce,...while the other in our group had the Pad Thai with chicken. All reported perfectly prepared dishes with exactly the right amount of spice ordered. With each entree large enough to take home for another meal the prices were not bad. Spring roll and cucumber salad appetizers were yummy. Service was a little slow considering we were there by ourselves on a Saturday evening.More

I've lived everywhere from Detroit to Miami to Los Angeles, and I've traveled to Asia, and in my Pad Thai obsession, I've still not come close to the Pad Thai here. Something about the sauce, the eggs, the spice, it's all perfect. A lot of...places you'll get more of the red sauce (which isn't as good), but not here. It's simply delicious. Even on my visit to Hong Kong and Bali, I couldn't find as good as here! It's my favorite place to come when in Detroit and the owners/staff are beyond sweet. Love!More

My family has been huge fans of Bangkok Kitchen since we first happened upon it years ago when we moved to the area. Over the years we've tried many, many of the dishes on the menu and they're always consistently delicious. More often than not...we order takeaway these days. Please do not be concerned by the empty seats in the dining area - this place does a HUGE takeaway businesss! None of the other Thai restaurants nearby can compare to Bangkok Kitchen - save it to speed dial!More
