My flight was delayed over 2 hours out of Escanaba, & I ended up eating dinner here. It is a charming, old-school place. I had a cup of tortellini soup, the regular-sized spinach salad, & a meatball with half marinara/half cheese sauce. Everything was yummy,...& it was a very pleasant place to spend the extra time. I will definitely visit again!More

Pleasantly surprised after not dining here in perhaps 15 years because they had such poor health department reports, filthy kitchen and poor service, Was closed for a while and went through another owner that quickly faded out and now back to original family and thought...we'd see if it changed for the better. Well it appears cleaner and the service was good. Drink prices reasonable and we had their pizza which was good- but the server did not mention to us that it was thursday and we ordered a large and we could have ordered another large to take home for 1/2 price. Found out later and this was a disappointment as our server should have told us.More

Hard to find this cozy place as it doesn't stand out. Very nice inside, they have a excellent wait staff. Our waitress recommended the fried cheese which was very good and filling. My wife had the chicken parmesan and I ordered a small pizza. The...chicken parmesan was excellent, great taste and a large portion. Table bread was good and fresh and the garlic butter went quickly. The pizza was odd, crust good and crispy, cheese fresh, sausage had no flavor, sauce was strange tasting and didnt work for this Chicago boy. Everthing else went well and worthy of another visit but not for the pizza.More

My wife and I were tired from a long drive and looking to relax and enjoy a quiet, good meal. Crispigna's was perfect. Very quiet and private booth that was quite comfortable. My wife had chicken marsala and I had a Calzone. Both dinners were...just excellent and we left completely satisfied with the entire experience. We will certainly seek this restaurant out again if the opportunity arises.More

We arrived before opening time, but the owner invited us in to wait, while he regaled us with the merits of his bacon salad dressing. Our table ready, we sat down and ordered 2 glasses of wine. Our waitress suggested we get the bottle and...she would bag it for us to take home. Not the same as the liquor laws at home, but OK. My wife had the most delicious Romaine and spinach salad with oil and vinegar dressing and I had the spinach salad with bacon dressing. The bacon dressing was indeed delicious. We shared the Crazy Italian pizza with salami, pepperoni, pepperoncini and roasted red peppers. All very delicious and well priced.More

We were in town visiting family and friends. We always try to get a visit to Crispigna’s. We have been going coming home to this area for 15 plus years. Favorite dishes are the perch, manicotti, chicken Parmesan, and lasagna. The drinks are reasonably price...and the service is always very friendly. They have a larger room in back for bigger groups but I would call ahead. If you are looking for nice quiet dinner good Italian food at good prices - this is the place to go!More

We were just passing through and wanted a bite to eat, but not fast food. Crispigna’s was a perfect choice! The food was delicious and plentiful. The crusty bread was served warm and with a garlic herb butter, yum! The balsamic scallops were tasty and...husband approved. The carbonara pasta with fresh peas and chunks of onions was so good, I didn’t want to stop eating it. Our waitress was very courteous and conscious of our time when we mentioned we still had a 4 hour drive that evening. We will be back when passing through in the future! (Can’t wait to try the Tiramasu that we got to go!)More

The shrimp alfredo arrived with a thick glop of “alfredo” sauce on top of the linguini. The shrimp was very salty. The alfredo was a thick, sticky, pasty sauce that was made of sour cream. The salad was made of tired lettuce. It was very...over-priced. The only positive was the waitress was very nice.More

The is a great little family Italian restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous. The wine list had a couple of good selections by the glass. The menu had a lot of variety. My wife had the chicken parmesan with a tomato based sauce...and pasta. It was outstanding. I ordered the spaghetti marinara, which was also very good. The sauce tasted as though it was home made. Their Caesar salad was good, tossed in a tasty dressing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good Italian meal.More
