Pearl's is an eclectic New Orleans style restaurant that was surprisingly authentic. The staff was service oriented and all employees wore masks in this age of Covid. We ordered a wide variety of entrees and all six of us were happy with our meals ,...and this is a "picky" and knowledgeable group when it comes to food. There was no waiting and the food was served in a timely manner and was hot. While you won't exactly think you're in New Orleans, you will like it.More

Louisiana Jambalaya: outstanding flavor, filled with shrimp, chicken and sausage, mild heat Blackened Catfish dinner with Tasso rice and hush puppies: good blackening flavor, rice seasoned well (probably would be spicey to some) and cooked to perfection. A side of hush puppies included 5 large...ones with a yummy sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The meal is served with warm white bread, cornbread with cheese and jalapeños and whipped butter. We both liked our drinks - the Bloody Mary and Peach Fizz. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area.More

We ended up having to sit at the bar because they were so busy. The menu was completely wrong in NEGLECTING saying you could get fries for $2 with a po' boy ONLY if you didn't get coleslaw. That was a $6 mistake that I...PAID FOR! The food was average and my $6 fries were cold by the time I got them. Definitely will not be visiting again.More

We love Pearl's and it is always packed and lively--except now with the COVID-19 distancing restrictions it was strangely quiet. Yet the food and service were still exceptional. Server Sarah was friendly, helpful, efficient, and patient. I could eat buckets of the gumbo, and my...wife loved the crawfish chowder. I always love the fried green tomatoes. Everything on the menu is delicious, so it is so difficult to choose. They did not have any fresh oysters so the famous oyster shooter was not available. I guess I'll need to get two next time. But they still have an excellent drink selection.More

Spent the day on the water and headed over to Pearls for dinner. Great choice! Had the Gumbo and Jumbalaya. Some of the best Gumbo we have had up north here! The main course was also excellant! Sat at the bar and the staff was...great! Highly recommend if you want to have some great quality food!More

Great food...had alligator bites, gumbo, jambalaya. Sat at the bar, bartender was knowledgeable. Bloody Mary hit the spot, homemade mix.

We stopped here based off the previous reviews. It is a cool place for sure. The staff was friendly but slow. The food was average at best. Glad qe came but not sure we would come back.

Whenever we come to Traverse City we try to stop at Pearls. The cajun shrimp appetizer alone is worth the trip! There was not a bartender on duty so a server stepped in to help us. Although we had to wait for drinks etc. she...was very friendly. I also had one Oyster Rockefeller which was ok, I also had collard greens that were outstanding! My husband had a special of pork chop topped with onion straws and beans and rice that was great! My cherry margarita was just as delish and I remembered. We will always recommend Pearls!More

First we had a large group (16 people) and our server Anja G did an exceptional job of not only serving all of us but several other tables as well. Our glasses/cups/drinks were kept replenished and our orders kept straight. Talking to the family later...most said food was okay but nothing exceptional other than those having shrimp boil, the blackened salmon (across the table from me - looked and smelled delicious) and one ordered a soup said they were very good. We take into consideration a very large group to get food out to at one time so would give them another try.More

Sorry I have no answer for that. I’ve never called for a reservation and only waited 10 minutes on a busy summer Friday evening.

I am not sure. It is worth a call though. Either way the food is incredible there
