Can't find better food outside of New Orleans. I had the enchiladas and it was totally divine. The drinks were fantastic and the ambiance is spot on and very authentic.

This is quite the hidden little gem. I had the catfish and if not "excellent", it was quite good. My friends had the etouffee that he thoroughly enjoyed, and the other friend had the pork chops. Both said they would choose these dishes again. The atmosphere was also fun. We arrived without reservations but only squeaked in, so based on... More

We just happened upon Pearl's when we were on our way back down from the UP and we are so happy we did! Such a unique place in Northern Michigan. All the food was homemade and everything we got was fantastic! Would especially recommend the ettouffe. Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back the next time we... More

Towards the weekend the wait can tend to be around 30-45 minutes depending on the size of your party. However the food is terrific!! We have been here several times! We love the food, drinks and the atmosphere of this restaurant!!

The wait on a Friday night was about 45 minutes, typical for a Friday night. They had a musician playing on the patio, and that made the wait fly by. The wait was worth it though...the food was EXCELLENT!!!!! We enjoyed every bit of our meal from start to finish!!!! The bread was delicious, soup and salad great, and the... More

I immediately would like to mention that we had the most amazing waitress I've ever seen. Her name was Jessi, and she practically answered any question before we even asked it. She knew the drinks and the menu back and forth. The service was A+++. We had a large group of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids), and not one... More

After waiting for over an hour, we were finally seated. Whew! The wait service was extremely slow and finally another half hour later food finally started to arrive. The alligator bites starter was skimpy. It was flavorful and had a nice blackened finish. The rest of the meal was pretty average at best. Not sure I would want to return... More
