Ice Cream at its finest with so many goodies. They have lactose free (I win) regular, sugar free & so many fountain choices with tons of flavors to pick from. Service was prompt & the inside is like a museum from the past. The decor is retro-vibe with a juke box, great display of retro & vintage pop bottles & signs. Picnic tables in sun or shade to enjoy your treat & walkable location from Main St. Don't miss this one!

As always, delicious ice cream with so many options. There is something for everyone. Very friendly staff. Be prepared for a little wait, but it’s worth it.

Delicious ice cream! Serving size of a small was quite large. Chocolate dipped sugar cones were a treat. Liked their Covid protocols.

The staff was VERY rude!! The middle aged gentleman taking the orders asked me two different times if I wanted to leave a tip. When I said no for the second time since they all get hourly wages, he said, “Really, no tip?” After getting two cones that were so melted you could not even eat them. Not only is there a tip jar on the counter, the staff all has wish lists for what they want from tips. How tacky!

I thought the ice cream was lame. I got mine chocolate chip. It wasn’t very minty and has microscopic pieces of chocolate.
We got ice cream in Glennie the next day. I got the same flavor and it was 10 x’s better.
The new social distancing set up was nice. You order outside now and don’t go into the store.

Ice cream was good. But when asked if we wanted to add an extra tip, we declined. We were made to feel badly, chastised for not paying an extra tip and told that he would let all the servers know that we didn't tip. Not good service! If you feel the servers aren't paid enough, YOU PAY THEM MORE!! Don't put it on me when I'm already paying top dollar for my ice cream!

Locals and tourists alike will line up for their ice cream and homemade waffle cones. As a tourist, this was our first visit. We shared their brownie bite sundae and it was very good!

Marion's dairy bar is a great place within the downtown East Tawas area. The ice cream here is awesome; it's not made on-sight, but the options: Guernsy, Hudsonville, or Ashby, are all premium Michigan brands, and all are available. The staff here was wonderful, and very friendly. There is seating available inside, but we got our ice cream to go, and enjoyed every bit of it!

Great kids work here they r well trained,customer oriented and kind.
The management and owner r very community oriented.
It is a sweet family hangout.
When friends visit Marion’s is required.

Amazing Ice Cream! We love the decadent creaminess of Ashby Ice Cream. We have also had breakfast at Marion's. The bacon is thick and delicious!

We had good ice cream here, but felt it was a bit pricey. The selection was very good. They need some bug control in the seating area as my friend had small flies biting her legs.

Came late afternoon for a tasty treat after fishing, there was no wait. Everybody was happy with their custard or scooped treat. While we were eating, about 40 people showed up, so we timed it perfectly.. Highly recommend

Camping nearby and we needed daily dose of ice cream. Busy but the staff was efficient and strictly business. Ice cream was good but somewhat overpriced for what you got.

Great breakfast stop. Very old time feel,
like a diner from back in the day. Decorated with all the antique Coca Cola apparel. More of a breakfast/ Ice Cream Shop. We stopped for take out on the way back from Oscoda. Staff seemed very friendly and organized. We got the hash brown mountain and the raspberry stuffed French toast. It came served with fresh raspberries! So many places now days are always just canned no matter what time of year you go. We plan on coming back st some point this summer for ice cream and a walk down the pier, hopefully this summer. There tip jar was cute lol
