Golden in color, clean & crisp, this light ale is for those who prefer a less assertive beer.
Brewed in the Bohemian tradition, this deep golden lager exhibits a bold yet balanced hop profile due to the use of premium Czech Saaz hops. We us the finest Moravian two row barley to give Detroit Lager its signature crisp, yet surprisingly full body. Our deliberate fermentation process & rigorous quality control ensure the freshest, most authentic pilsner style lager possible.
Red in color, clear, w/ a sweet character which favors malt heavily. Caramel flavors predominate, woody & chocolate notes are also present, if more subtle.
Local 1529 IPA
Orange, copper in color & served unfiltered in the American micro tradition. Big hop character, supported by lots of sweet malt. American hops present flavors of grapefruit & citrus which, while predominating, do not completely cover up some nutty malt notes.
People Mover Porter
A rich porter w/ a deep brown color. Full bodied featuring a smooth rich velvety mouth feel. Chocolate flavor dominates w/ hints of caramel, toffee, & roast. The porter rotates w/ the steam tunnel stout
Steam Tunnel Stout
A fusion of our two favorite styles of stouts, oatmeal stout & sweet stout (cream stout). The silky smooth texture of oats, the full body & mild sweetness of lactose. Heavy roast & coffee are very evident w/ hints of chocolate, caramel malt & light sweetness from the lactose. Moderately bitter w/ little hop aroma or flavor. The Stout rotates w/ the people mover porter
The Detroit Draft
Copper, amber in color. Clean lager character w/ some fruity ale notes. Earthy w/ flavors of tea & forest nuts. Distinct balance between malt & hops allows the creamy texture to really come through. We earned a medal at the Great American Beer festival in our first year of business w/ this one & it remains our house specialty to this day.
Detroit Beer Co. Growlers
Detroit beer co. growlers are available for purchase anytime. A growler is a ½ gallon jug that we fill up w/ your favorite house brew for you to take home. The growler is yours to keep & can be brought back in anytime for a refill. Growlers are $3 to purchase & $8 to fill.

We were in Detroit for the day and decided to stop here as I like trying new beer. The food was excellent nice servings and very accommodating for our children. The beer was really refreshing and good.
Great area close to the opera house, Detroit Tigers and Lions and so much more! Great brewery beers, burgers, fish and chips and more. Always have had friendly service. Can be very busy, depending on what’s going on though. Check out their website.
