Great brisket and pulled pork. We were able to get it to go so we had a variety of sauces with it. The macaroni and cheese was good for a restaurant and the sweet potatoes were well seasoned.

We had lunch here. The BBQ brisket was the best I have ever had and I'm from Savannah, Ga where we have very good BBQ. Portions are large. Best Mac & Cheese I ever tasted. A must if you are in Detroit. Plenty of room to eat inside though this location does a lot of take away.

Great food, good atmosphere and worth a visit. Tough to get into when there is a sporting event on in town, but always on our go to list when visitors are around or when friends are up for true Barbeque. From the traditional brisket, to pulled pork and their other smoked items, all have been good. Don't miss their banana... More

While on a business trip, my wife did some research for me and told me to check out Slows. I'm glad she did. The gumbo was a great start, followed by the triple threat sandwich which has bacon, pulled pork and ham on it. Unreal! Try all the bbq sauces, as they are all really good. I particularly enjoyed the... More

This was my second visit here. The first was great, this time just ok. The wings were good. I had a Yardbird and it was good but the ribs we ordered were overcooked and dry. We left half of our order. My Sazerac was good.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night from a friend's recommendation. They did not disappoint! We started off with the chilli cheese fries and do yourself a favor - get them. I got the pulled pork bbq and the portion was huge. Once they brought it out I knew I couldn't finish it so you get your money's... More

Not very pleased with the rip tips. Didn't have that grilled flavor. The green beans were tasy, the onions and spices were great. The mac and cheese was very cheesy, not bad. The best part was the pecan pie. The crust taste like my mom's, it was great! Not sure if I'll go back but if I do, for certain... More

Slows has good BBQ. The portions are decent size and the food was delicious. Everyone I was with truly enjoyed their sandwich! Staff and service were friendly. Worth stopping and trying at least once, maybe twice.

I found Slow's by looking over a Food Network map and saw that it had been featured on there. It was near the hotel so I thought I'd try and WOW!! It was fantastic! I had a chicken meal that was delicious! I also tried this apple bbq sauce, not expecting much because I don't like sweet & savory together...this... More
