This was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while, and probably the best in Detroit. We got two vegetable dishes and two meat dishes: the past filled with corn purée was very unique and amazing, the cauliflower had a great and potent...More

This resturant offers menu with every item separate and recommends that each person order 3 or 4 items then share around. We got Halibut, Crispy potatoes, and beet salad. The Halibut was $28 and was very small portion (maybe 3 oz.) other plates small portions...More

All 4 brunch plates were on point! Not to mention the delicious cheesy grits and potato (and red pepper) appetizers. We were very pleased with both the food and the service received. Thanks, y'all!

Selden Standard was already on my to-do list before visiting Detroit, but after waitresses in two different local places also recommended it, we just had to go. And we weren’t disappointed. Everything we had was superb; This is a restaurant Detroit can be proud of.

Meals never disappoint. We had a quick lunch while visiting Cass corridor area. All lunch picks were great and had a good Rose. Selden is our go to restaurant when in Detroit.

Had lunch reservation. We were seated promptly. The cold summer soup was good, fresh, slightly spicy. The BLT was disappointing, however, as it was pretty mundane. The presentation was equally mundane: just a normal sandwich on a white plate. One could find a BLT downtown,...More

Great restaurant, great menu and service! This is probably my favorite restaurant in the city. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed looks kind of industrial, a very comfortable room. The food is consistently delicious and the service is great. I’ve had some interesting wines at...More

There is no kid specific menu and there is a large bar as you first come in. So my thought would be that they cater more to the 21 and older crowd but children are allowed.
