If you're a vegetarian, I'm not, get the lentil burger. Best I've ever had and is one of my favorites on the menu.

My friend wanted to take me to this restaurant, and I was reluctant, having my heart set on another restaurant. Boy, I am glad we went to Cass Cafe!! The decor is my college hang out, or college coffee house, but, the food is delicious and inexpensive. My friend had Mahimahi served on a bed of greens with some really... More

I was taken to the Cass by friends for dinner before a concert at the Detroit Symphony. I was apprehensive because the Cass Cafe looks on the interior like a typical breakfast cafe which dot the American landscape. I was happily surprised the limited menu and wine list is quite good. My sirloin was done medium rare with quite a... More

The Cass is a fine spot to meet for a drink and have some decent food. They aren't amazing, but they're fine. The Café Reuben is pretty edible. Burgers are usually overcooked for my liking (no matter how you order it). Good staff, though, for sure.

This place has a wide variety of dishes to chose, from calamari salad to curry chicken pasta to a black bean burger. Everything that I have tried has been absolutely delicious, and I have always had great service. I love going to this place for lunch, and they have great vegetarian options.

I came here for lunch. There were a lot of options on the menu. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. There is a small area to park in the back, which is convenient.

Eat where the locals eat! Great veggie burrito. Located in the vibrant Cass Corridor. Eat there and shop in boutiques down the street.

Cass Café is a great place to eat before or after the Detroit Symphony. The food is always great as is the service. Love the ever changing art on the walls

I arrived with six friends, intending on making this place a monthly place to meet and eat. Our Hostess seemed comatose. The Waiter, Jose, acted like setting up a table for 7 was an interruption of his evening. There were two other tables with maybe a total of six people at 6:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. It was NOT busy.... More

This has become a standard place of eating for me whenever I am in Detroit. It has a great vibe in a safe area, good prices, something for everyone, yummy food and an entertaining bathroom stall wall. They have good hours too; they're open late serving good food. All of this is hard to find in this area so we... More
