Classic atmosphere that we loved. But the food brought us back. Or the excellent bloody marys brought us back. Okay, we went back for both. This time I had the Market Stacker Egg Sandwich, which has great chorizo and too many seasoned fries to finish. My wife had a corned beef sandwich that was the most tender she has ever had...and lots of it. Previously I had the Lobster and Shrimp BLT. We also recommend the Philly Steak Melt. Service was consistently outstanding. We can't wait to go back.

Friends shared a few of their favorite Detroit stops with us. The first was Vivio's, where they recommended the corned beef sandwich. It was, by far, the BEST we have ever had...moist, melt in your mouth tender and not to be forgotten. So much history in the building sitting near the Eastern Market. We will return here!

Vivio's is located in the Detroit East Market. The seafood melt hoagie was absolutely fantastic! The melting cheese was hanging out of the back of the sandwich as I bit into it. The combination of langostino, shrimp and scallops was very unique. The seafood was perfectly cooked. Kudos to the chef. Our server was enthusiastic and so funny. We traveled from Tulsa to Detroit and ordered Oklahoma sliders. LOL

I've been going to Vivio's for six years and I've found the staff to be unfailingly welcoming, the food to be excellent and the mussels absolutely peerless. IF YOU'RE INCLINED TO GET HANGRY AND ABUSIVE, don't go on Saturday. You will wait in a long line outside and then for a long time to get your food, because they are packed to the rafters, and for good reason.

Went to Detroit's Eastern Market and stopped in to Vivio's for lunch. It was delicious. Seriously, it's the best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. My niece had the sliders and loved them too. Excellent service even though it was busy. Our waitress was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time there for us from Canada. Can’t stress enough how good the food was! I had the sliders, fresh not frozen, my hubby had the bourbon burger. They specialize in Bloody Caesars and my hubby said it was excellent. Great waitress and we will be back for sure.

Met friends and had lunch there yesterday and what a great place. Casual with very good food. The service was great, the atmosphere was very interesting and an overall fun experience. The choice of bloody Mary’s was good with interesting garnishes. The Ruben was stacked high and oh so tasty. A hidden gem in the city of Detroit!

Very busy, but very picturesque. I found it funny. Very friendly and nice staff. Despite the people we found a seat immediately and they served us very quickly. I took mussels like ours marinara style. They served them to me directly in the pot. And they were really very good and fresh.

We had a great time there. Only ordered their famous bloody Mary’s, but they were excellent and very filling the food menu is very nice and the portions are huge. I recommend splitting an order.

Tried Vivio’s for a weekday lunch. Surprisingly busy with the market closed. We tried a variety of Bloody Mary’s before our meal. Great service and good food. We’ll be back!

We were in the Eastern Market area for an evening and stopped here for dinner. We tried the Hot Shot of Vodka, habanero flavored, and it was excellent. We had the Southwest and Bourbon Burgers, both were excellent. Great visit!

Went to the upper bar , ordered our drinks and food
The food took a hour and a half , and the drink was suppose to be a lemon drop. IT WAS STRAIGHT VODKA! I asked for a sprite , the sprite taste like it had pepper in the bottom of the glass! Disgusting . Then the food finally arrived just for half of our order to still be missing !
Maybe it was a bad day. But I definitely WILL NOT BE RETURNING .

You would not think the food is gonna be that good, then they bring it to the table and BAM everything is awesome! I use to go for the bloody Mary's only but now I'm looking for menu as soon as I walk in lol

I've been there twice and definitely worth the trip when visiting the area along with Eastern Market! Its always busy so be prepared for a wait unless you are there early, but it is worth it! The staff is excellent, and everything on the menu! Don't forget the Mimosa or Bloody Mary with breakfast either they will make it even better. Every customer leaves here ringing the bell!
