Feather-bowling? Huh? A weird, unheard of, fun sport and this is the place to do it. Don't know how to play? Not an issue at all. The friendly staff will instruct you and get you started on this "sport". (as well, the rules are posted on the wall.) Feather bowling may be a Belgian sport, as this appears to be... More

OK...it's the only place to featherbowl. That's alright...we didn't know what that was either. I can tell you it's a lot of fun and not exactly like anything you've done before. So the Cadieux Cafe is actually an old school bar that celebrates all things Belgian. Mainstream fare is available but you owe it to yourself to eat and drink... More

Ya know it's been some 20+ years since my last visit. They haven't changed a thing. It's just as I remembered, perfect for my Mussel cravings on my birthday. The Mussels with garlic and win sauce was excellent. Started with roasted Brussel Sprouts and the cheese artichoke dip which was good but the Mussels lots o# work and some mess... More

My partner brought me here for Belgian mussels; I had no idea what to expect. What I found was that perfect combination that I find at only 1 in maybe 100 restaurants: excellent food done right and flawless service without any of the pretentiousness that usually goes along with the first two. The place is dark but clean-feeling with a... More

We went to the Cadieux Cafe and I hadn't been there in 30+ years. It hadn't changed a bit which is a good thing in my opinion. We got there on a Monday shortly after it opened and it wasn't packed, which again, is a good thing in my opinion. 2 of us had the rabbit dinner which was outstanding,... More

Husband ate at Cadieux Cafe 30 years ago but neither our kids nor I had been there so we thought it would be nice to visit tonight. From the outside the place looks like a dive and quite honestly, the inside doesn't look a whole lot better! We were all very happy with our selections however. My beef stew was... More

Cadieux Cafe is a gem. Absolutely delicious food and feather bowling as well. I can't emphasize strongly enough how good the food is. The place doesn't look like much but it's got it where it counts!

I'm a native Detroiter, but this was my first time experiencing the Cadieux Cafe. I believe the menu items are Belgian dishes-mussels were very popular. Soups, salads, pomme-frites, and a very good grilled cheese sandwich were some of the menu choices. If you have fish allergies, your choices are limited. One fryer is used for fish & non-fish items. There's... More

Went as a group of 5 colleagues from around the US. We started with feather bowling and had a ball. Then stayed for dinner and enjoyed great food (sandwiches to dinners) and beverages. Open mic night for entertainment. Couldn't believe all the people there for a Tuesday night. Make reservation if Feather bowling to ensure lane available.

Famous venue in my new neighborhood where they have feather bowling and live music nights, supplemented by interesting Belgian fare and a wide variety of beers. See Anthony Bourdain's review on the Travel Channel. My two young sons love going here ever since they were once allowed to bowl a couple frames and they both like mussels. Interesting specials here... More
