Tigers won big!! A reason for celebrating. And just outside of the park is the Elwood. With seating indoors and outside, the Elwood is great for pre-game preparation or post-game celebrations. The true gem is the fabulous staff and the incredible service they provide. We...had burgers and a southern fried chicken sandwich. Everything was great. The chicken sandwich was crispy outside and juicy inside. The fries were delicious. Super crispy, hot and flavorful. The server kept our drinks filled and provided great recommendations. If you're in area, seek out the Elwood. You won't be disappointed.More

Had a few beers and lunch before the Tigers game today. Took around 10-15min to get any service at all but was better from there. The server was friendly and helpful. Food was good but maybe a touch overpriced for what it is. Need a...drink menu on the tables outside, will save time. And please upgrade the outdoor speakers, they are ready for the dumpster.More

The Elwood is perfectly located between Ford Field and Comerica park. We just ambled up to the bar, and had our choice of over a dozen beers on tap. Servers are very friendly, and service is prompt and good, despite the crowds. There is a...large gated outdoor area for folks to congregate too. Perfect stadium area bar.More

Stopped in after the baseball game for a quick beer. We didn't eat but saw other's food and it looked good. Fun little retro style place to visit right next to stadium. Enjoyed it!

If you are going to a Tigers game, this is a great choice before or after the game. It is just outside of the stadium. We were able to grab a couple of beers and some wings before the game. Get there early, it fills...up quickly. .More

On a recommendation from a tour guide we decided to try this place. It's a bar food type place wedged between Comerica field and Ford field. So GREAT location. Had a brew and a cheesesteak. Boom good. We're also had quesadillas that was very good....Service was awesome. Waitress was super friendly and very warm. Love having this type of service. Will be back. Great job and give that woman a raise 😊👍More

We stopped here for a quick beer before a baseball game. We were impressed how friendly the staff were...and that prices were fair. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available with a large patio. Recommend stopping here!

The Elwood is always a great stop before a game, good ears and cheaper beer. Inside or out, it is a very welcoming place.

I always stop by and have a beer on the way to a Lions or Tigers game. The outdoor area is where the action is, although they stuff the crowd into a very limited area. You cannot beat the location to Ford Field and Comerica...Park. The beer is always ice cold.More

Stopped here before a concert for pre-drinking. It was insanely busy, but the waitress still brought our food and drinks in decent time. Pricey, but didn't expect anything else that close to the stadiums. Food was good. Would stop here again before a ballgame or...concert.More

The wait staff is just the rudest. Don’t go there, you will be treated as a nuisance rather than a customer. Far, far better choices in downtown.

One of the best places to go before a Tiger's game! Outdoor/indoor seating, entrance to Comerica Park right across the street. The food is pretty awesome. Burgers are perfect! Their prices are pretty good, better to eat there instead of at the ballpark. The staff...is awesome. My dad had lost his wallet and the staff found it under a picnic table the next day, nothing missing. If you really want to see the rich history of Detroit, head to the Elwood!More

Elwoods is in the heart of a lot going on. Next to Comerica Park & Ford Field. Detroit Tigers & Detroit Lions. Always events there & right in the middle of it all. Great food & reasonably priced.
