Stopped here after a bike ride. The beer was good, sandwiches could have been from a deli, nothing special.

My family has been going here for decades and the vegetarian food is always great and innovative. There's a reason why it has been such a great play to go and now is in the middle of great development in Midtown!

Good food, a very unique environment, and an all around good experience in the heart of the city. They have free parking in the guarded lot across the street, so that is nice. They food is basic, but good, and the drinks are great. Plus, they have their own breads and ice cream!

Despite being a very laid-back, informal place, Traffic Jam is a great place for a confidential conversation or a date. The food is unusual and imaginative (try the Madras Meat Loaf, or the pork loin salad) and the beer brewed on site is excellent. If you want wine, you may have to ask for the wine list, because waiters here... More

Such an interesting place that I would have never gone into on my own, but my father brought me here and he doesn't go anywhere twice unless its worth it. Everyones dishes were great. I got the brisket panini and absolutely loved it. The goat cheese ravioli were also fantastic. The old saloon feel is part of the experience but... More

I went with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to call in and make a reservation. There weren't many patrons there. I was expecting the service to be at least average. Out of a group of eight, my meal was the last one out. A couple of waiters did tell me that it would be out "in... More

I have been going to TJ's, as it's often known to locals, for about 30 years and, I believe, three owners. Today's dinner there was after an absence of at least two years. I had less-than-satisfactory experiences there the last several visits, more often with the service than with the food. Therefore I am happy to report that, with my... More

I expected higher quality food. Albiet I had salmon. Perhaps there are better choices on the menu. Price was fine. Cool place. Service also not the standard I expected. Meh.

There were a couple of issues with this visit. I chose the restaurant because it's a well known midtown establishment and I was hoping to check another Detroit staple off the list. I had been there about a decade ago and remembered it being good then, but wanted to check back in. We were seated promptly and made our choices,... More

There was nothing bad about our visit, but nothing very good either. I like the decor and feel of the place, but the food was mediocre.
