LOVE the soup! Where can I find the recipe? I have been coming in for the soup and live 100 miles away. I'd love the recipe to make it at home when I'm not In the area.

We visited Traffic Jam and Snug this past Sunday after reading an article about it in Thrillist:50 Things to Eat Before You Die. The article specifically mentions the cheeses, homemade breads and desserts as being exceptional. When we arrived about 10 minutes before 12, we thought maybe the restaurant wasn't officially open yet as there was no hostess and the... More

We all had sandwiches and they were decent. The service was kind of bad with it being they forgot one of our fries (even after she recommended the beer fries to us) then they never did come out once we asked about it. Nothing really stands out on the food part. The desserts were amazing. The cookie ice cream dessert... More

I had heard so much about this place so I was looking forward to trying. I should've known when it took forever for hostess to seat us, it was not a good sign. The place wasn't even busy. Ordered the brisket panini which was featured on food network. Meat was chewy and fatty. Bread that it came on reminded me... More

Beer was tasty unique. Food was OK . Bourbon Street Jambayla pasta dish great sauce but sparse shrimp and sausage which was cut thin. Kids chicken strips no flavor of batter- crispy but needed seasoning. We should have asked for sauce to dip them into did not come with dish. Clown ice cream dessert a failure! Melting ice cream with... More

The place looks rustic cool and is cosy, menu looks really good and the food tastes good but isn't spectacular. Wait staff weren't that great, seemed to be a bit forgetful or absentminded

The food is excellent and I love the diversity and originality of the menu! Very reasonable priced for quality food. Portions are generous and everything we tasted was really good (and we were 5!). I love the homemade poppy seed bread they serve, it is so fresh and fluff,y my only disappointment was that they didn't sell any for take... More

Traffic Jams once was one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit. My past four visits have been disappointing. The service has gone downhill. Food was delivered sporadically and some of our order never came at all. When I mentioned that my father did not receive his side salad the server replied, “there was no charge for it anyway." He did... More

We decided to stop into the Traffic Jam for a drink after shopping next-door at Shinola Detroit. Great people (all three bartenders were awesome) and a unique atmosphere. Many homemade elements, even in the drinks. If you're in the area, definitely worth a visit.

Our friend suggested this place because she is a regular customer. It was easy to get to and there was free parking in the lot across the street. The staff was attentive and the food was good. 2 of us had the fish and chips. The 2 fillets were big, but not very tasty, a little bland. The large fries... More
