we flew into detroit for moms 90th birthday. this was the best service we have had for such an event.. they went above what was expected. the food was so very nice and a great menu which had many choices and the prices were very good. homemade bakery items, and one of the best desserts .

I chose the restaurant week menu option: crab and asiago cheese dip with baguette slices, lamb with crushed pistachios and fruit chutney, and for dessert--raspberry tiramisu... All were delicious!

Out with 10 of my best friends and stopped by Traffic Jam for a bite to eat. Charlie , our server couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. The food here is WONDERFUL!! We ordered an assorted choices off the menu. No one walked away unhappy or hungry From appetizers to dinner to desserts, you will find something wonderful to... More

I've been coming here since it was just a bar back in the 70's. This is a casual dinning spot but offers unique food and excellent wine and beer options. Prices are moderate and reasonably priced. I've never had a bad meal here and would have given 5 stars except my fries were a little cold last time I was... More

Well we finally went to the snug after watching Guy from triple D's. What the heck was he talking. First the prices were very high for a fancy cracker barrel the decor was to rustic. The best part about the food was the manager did not charge us. The portable mushroom soup was tasteless and so thick you could stand... More

Have been here a few times now, and would recommend ordering off their special weekly menu. The food is fresh and decent portions for appetizers and entrees. They always have a couple vegan and/or vegetarian options on their soups salads and entrees. Their house-bread is fresh baked and keeps varying. Their menu is really diverse - everything from burgers to... More

LOVE the soup! Where can I find the recipe? I have been coming in for the soup and live 100 miles away. I'd love the recipe to make it at home when I'm not In the area.

We visited Traffic Jam and Snug this past Sunday after reading an article about it in Thrillist:50 Things to Eat Before You Die. The article specifically mentions the cheeses, homemade breads and desserts as being exceptional. When we arrived about 10 minutes before 12, we thought maybe the restaurant wasn't officially open yet as there was no hostess and the... More

We all had sandwiches and they were decent. The service was kind of bad with it being they forgot one of our fries (even after she recommended the beer fries to us) then they never did come out once we asked about it. Nothing really stands out on the food part. The desserts were amazing. The cookie ice cream dessert... More

I had heard so much about this place so I was looking forward to trying. I should've known when it took forever for hostess to seat us, it was not a good sign. The place wasn't even busy. Ordered the brisket panini which was featured on food network. Meat was chewy and fatty. Bread that it came on reminded me... More
