This is the original Buddy's restaurant. Great, Detroit-style (deep dish with the toppings under the cheese and sauce) pizza. Great place for families and to celebrate for any reason. Great service and with a smile.

I have been going to Buddy's since 1969. And they are the best pizza on earth. I wish I still lived near there so I could go.

Really enjoyed the coney pizza and the Henry Ford. The waitress was fantastic. If you want a wide variety of choices and super friendly staff, this is the place to go!

Had the Detroiter pizza and an antipasto salad. Pizza was cheesy, with a crunchy crusty and soft interior, slightly spicy sauce. Salad was loaded with cheese, salami and ham. Could be a meal in itself with those yummy breadsticks.

Not only is this the best pizza in Detroit, as far as I'm concerned it's the only pizza worth eating in Detroit.. I understand there's other locations, but as with anything else, the original is typically the best and that's what I'm gonna believe in this case.. Had a few of the pizzas, really liked the margarita, seasonings are delicious,... More

Drove two hours to eat hear and was not disappointed. We ordered the Greek Pizza and a traditional pepperoni pizza and they were both excellent. The service was good as well.

This is Detroit pizza at its best. Thick and gooey, tangy sauce, real mozzarella cheese. Add some peperoni and you got a perfect pie.

I know why the Travel Channel Rated it so high! Their Buddy's Special was great, as well as the antipasto salad. Service was fantastic. I ordered mine to go. When I walked in, I was immediately asked if I was there for pickup or dine in. When I said pickup but I had not placed an order the girl asked... More

This is the best pizza in the world! The location in the Detroit has not changed in years which is great because this is a very relaxing pizza place. Pizza is amazing as well as the salads, soups, and bread sticks. I do feel this location which is the original has the best tasting pizza then the other locations.
