Have been to this great restaurant several times. The food is authentic, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and cozy.

This is one of Detroit’s best. Once you find this Oasis of fine authentic Italian dining, the experience is great from start to finish. The hostess Frances treats you like family. The food is wonderful and the setting is classic. Great traditional and current appetizers...More

Wow this used to be a good place. It is really out-of-the-way so it had to be good both in food and service to draw a crowd every night of the week. As of late both the food and the service or so average it...More

Had two surprises when visiting this restaurant. We ordered a bottle of fine Italian Chianti. The wine was served with plastic glasses. And they charged for refills on soft drinks

Visited Giovannis at 7pm on a Saturday night, seated immediately for our reservation. The food here is exceptional. From the bread service, appetizers, meal and dessert everything was fantastic. Always a special night. Started with pizza, shrimp and sausage appetizers. Moved to soups and salads....More
