This ended up being a great stop before the Kenny Chesney concert. A large draft list to satisfy any beer drinker's taste buds and plenty of seating. Will be a definite go-to for any pre-party downtown.

It really hurts me to not give Detroit restaurants great reviews, but tonight's experience was just so-so. This restaurant isn't that old, so I was disappointed to see that the soap dispensers have already been ripped off the ladies room walls, and tiles are cracked. Wouldn't think the crowd would be that rough! The BBQ sauce sampler was tired -... More

Go there and try it. I could not believe how awesome it is. Burgers, perfect! Taste without sauce awesome. And when you think it could not get better try it with the sauces ! Kansas City / Detroit and Carolina are my personal favorites. I will go there more often to eat there, also when I have to drive about... More

Very disappointing. Had great hopes of yummy BBQ food but, meh. Service was poor. Asked waitress question regarding menu item and she simply repeated the menu description. Seemed she didn't know the menu. Then the food came and the ribs were charred and burned and dry. When the bill came, they automatically charge gratuity for groups of 6...we were a... More

Tried the Rub BBQ & Pub before a Tigers game. It was very busy, but the service was very good, as was the food. Would recommend the "Ren Cen burger" ....one of the best I have had in awhile. Good selection of draft beers, including some local Detroit offerings. Will try again!

A group of 9 of us went in on a Monday night, with a reservation. The restaurant had less than 5 other tables yet it took forever for our beverages and food. The first dish was served their entree and was pretty much finished with their meal by the time the last persons meal was served. The fried pickles and... More

Tonight was our 2nd visit to Rub. It was raining like crazy out and the restaurant wasn't very busy, inside. It took several minutes for someone to realize we were waiting to be seated. There were 2 other parties already seated before use, 1 party of 7 adults and another party of 6 adults and 4 kids. It took about... More

We attended Tigers game where we dominated and are in a positive mood.. Entered this establishment with horrible welcoming. Waitstaff attitude was condescending and only received half-filled drinks... and 2meals ordered, and only one received.. Not a complainer type because I am paranoid of having my food sabotaged but think game-goers should be aware .... PS and our pre-paid Groupons... More

My husband and I attended the Whitesnake concert at the Fox Theater Friday, June 17th. We had a Groupon for this location and thought it would be the perfect spot for pre-show eats. Boy were we ever right! We got there around 5:30pm and there was ample seating available. We decided to sit at the bar as I always enjoy... More
