We visited Mudgies for the first time on MLK day. We all had the day off, so we went to the North American Auto Show at COBO Hall and then headed over to Mudgies for lunch. We arrived at 1:00 and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The place was really hopping. I don't know if Monday's are... More

We went to Mudgie's to have a small snack after some beers in the surrounding breweries and before heading to the city center. With just 2 people, we immediately got a table. Other people had to wait over 30 mins to be seated. They have a great selection of beer and wine from all over the world. We enjoyed some... More

The wait was acceptable. The ambience is exceptional. The food was late and the server forgot to place the order with the cooks. I have been there 6 or 7 times and could not believe it when our server said she had not placed the order and forgot what we ordered.

Visited Mudgie's for lunch on the Monday after Christmas. The place was packed and we waited about 30 minutes for a table. Worth the wait for the food. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, not to mention larger than the average sandwich. Our waiter put a damper on this particular culinary adventure. We asked 3 times for straws for our... More

This was recommended to us by the bartender Michael, at the Detroit Beer Company, and boy, did he steer us in the right place!! The food is farm to table, free range, and absolutely delicious! We were here for Sunday brunch and we enjoyed all the food tremendously. I had Eggs Benedict, which may sound ho hum and ordinary but... More

My recent visit to Mudgies helped remind me that restaurants can be like the shifting sands of a beach. During my most recent visit I was disappointed to find the food quality, service and Management awareness has shifted from a unique, inviting and a "Go To Place" to a place of last resort. Although not the end of the world,... More

(I'd rate this 3.5 if I could.) We really enjoyed lunch at Mudgies over Thanksgiving weekend. An interesting selection of food and drinks, and a cozy, cool atmosphere. If there's a wait, you can wait outside on a patio in front of a fireplace. There was a wait for us, so we grabbed seats at the bar. We enjoyed sandwiches... More

We went there for Sunday brunch with our 12 months old daughter after finding Mudgie's in a list of places recommended for brunch and we were not disappointed. Roger, our waiter, was super friendly and helpful. Our food was lovely - great portion and very tasty. The dining room is comfortable. We got there early but it got quite busy... More

A fantastic place to visit after a walking tour of Corktown. Mudgie's has a great atmosphere- both inside and out. I celebrated my birthday there and it was friendly for a plant based eater of 30 plus years! Awesome!

I came here during my lunch break. I ordered the Reuben with corned beef and it was decent. It was extremely hot, making me sweat when I eat whilst burning my mouth. Hot as in high temperature, not spicy (though it was a bit spicy). In addition, the wait for the food was long, about 20 minutes, which is understandable... More
