A classy restaurant with the best steaks you'll find in the area. Not to miss items are beef cheek perogis, roasted bone marrow and a happy hour worth visiting. This place was a pioneer in the Detroit restaurant scene and has easily kept its pace at the top. Worth the prices- for special occasions and romantic date nights

Great ambiance and quality of food is excellent. Their feature meat changes which is nice and always delicious! Great place to entertain friends and business associates. Great wine list but pricey.

We met up with Peggy and Larry Thompson for a great meal. The server was very attentive, the wine was superb, but the prices were steep.

Met some business colleagues here for dinner and was satisfied with the experience. Prompt service and a subdued atmosphere. I had the filet and it was a little overcooked (I had ordered it medium rare and it was medium) but still very good. The Mac and cheese is rich and delicious. Nice cocktail list and some good beer selections. I... More

This was our 3rd time visiting Roast. Service was great as always. Food is amazing, not cheap but you get what you pay for. The bar area offers a different and cheaper menu i believe. Love the casual atmosphere that never makes you feel uncomfortable. Highly recomend it if you haven't been there yet.

Bad service. Staffs were busy chatting with each other and with attitude especially the hostess and the two manager in suites. Our waitress was not friendly and never gave us a smile during our entire meal. Dinner was nothing special. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

This is a very intimate and sophisticated establishment in one of Detroit's finest hotels. It is designed to accommodate a variety of experiences ... a meeting, family gathering in a 'suite' environment, regular dining for couples and lovely booths. To say the food is SUPERB is an understatement. A visit to ROAST is an experience to spoil any one hoping... More

This place is amazing. The staff live and breathe the new Detroit. What a welcome to this amazing city. Our waiter made us feel special, served amazing food from a great modern menu and offered a well balanced selection of wines. A must for those visiting Detroit.

I had the filet and it was perfect, as I hadn't had a steak in a really long time. My husband had the meat roast of the day, which was whole roasted pig, which was great too. We also tried the whipped potatoes that were enough to for us to share the side dish and were wonderful. Overall a perfect... More

We went here for Father's Day and made reservations which was good because they told the couple in front of us waiting they were booked up. The reason I bring it up was that the restraint wasn't even half full when we left so maybe people cancelled but they have the full menu at the bar so you can still... More
