I had not been to this restaurant in several years and was pleasantly surprised that it has lost none of its lustre. We had a superb meal in a comfortable setting. We enjoyed excellent service and fine wine. I won't leave so long to visit...More

This is an elegant restaurant but without the uppity feeling of some of the downtown Detroit wannabes. By far the best food preparation downtown. There happy hour (at bar only) is outstanding with a good quality wine at $5 a glass and the food menu...More

We had a great time at Roast before heading to the Opera House for Aladdin. The waitress was very considerate asking if we were going to an event after dinner. She kept things moving along perfectly. Cudos for the oysters and the beef cheek pierogies,...More

I’ve been going here for YEARS and the food is simply fantastic. The happy hour food menu (4:30-6:30) is also really good but you can only order from it from the bar area and there is limited seating.

Seemed very much to me like a Morton’s or Sam and Harry’s, with a little quicker service. Spinach with feta was unbelievably good. Filet comparable. Service a little stiff. Nice atmosphere. Pricey but not above similar quality restaurants.

Our second visit, several years after our first and we were again impressed. First of all, the food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth five stars. I had scallops for starter, followed by the lamb shank – one of tastiest ever. My wife also had...More

This is a terrific, high end steak house located in the Westin Book Cadillac. The food and drinks are excellent, and so too is the service.

Had a milestone anniversary here as we were staying in the hotel. Service is top of the line. The food, while very good, is not nearly as good as Ruth Chris or Morton's. For the money, I'd recommend those instead of here.

The pacing of the meal awful. There were really loooong stretches of time between servings despite not being busy. The crunchy potatoes could have been outstanding except they were served cold. The waitress was slow moving and while attentive when there would disappear for long...More

We split every dish and though great, the steaks were the star of the show. Flavor, char, juiciness, and perfect cook. Next time, we will have tiny appetizers and a steak each.

My suggestion is to call them directly. They do have at least one private room but I'm not sure how many it holds.
