Went here for my husband's birthday dinner, he wanted a good steak. They did not disappoint us. Hubby ordered Ribeye and oysters. I got the Branzino (sea bass) we shared spinach and whipped potatoes. Everything was so good and the service was even better. Yes...More

The food is excellent. The service is excellent. The craft cocktails are excellent...and the juices and bitters are all house made. This is the place to be if you are a true gourmet!

I had the pleasure of dining at Roast recently. I ordered the filet mignon and it was one of the best that I have ever had. However, they are a bit pricey

My husband and I have dined at many steakhouses across the United States, and we have certain expectations with expensive restaurants whose main feature is steak. This was our second visit to Roast; the first visit was several years ago. The atmosphere is nice, comfortable...More

Located on the first floor of the Westin, tired after spending the entire day at the Little Caesars Arena for an event, we opted for the easy route and made a 10:00 pm reservation at Roast. First - love that they accommodate late night dining....More

This is an elegant restaurant but without the uppity feeling of some of the downtown Detroit wannabes. By far the best food preparation downtown. There happy hour (at bar only) is outstanding with a good quality wine at $5 a glass and the food menu...More

We had a great time at Roast before heading to the Opera House for Aladdin. The waitress was very considerate asking if we were going to an event after dinner. She kept things moving along perfectly. Cudos for the oysters and the beef cheek pierogies,...More

I’ve been going here for YEARS and the food is simply fantastic. The happy hour food menu (4:30-6:30) is also really good but you can only order from it from the bar area and there is limited seating.

My suggestion is to call them directly. They do have at least one private room but I'm not sure how many it holds.
