Very good food and drinks.
We tend to stop in before shows at the Opera House and they are usually able to squeeze us in for a quick bite and drink. They are used to the Opera crowd and realize you may be in a...More
The shrimp and grits soooo yummy. Also tried the Mac and cheese loaded. The art work on the wall was nice to admire. They have outside seating if it's warm enough. You can also kinda see your food being made (If it's the pizza). Warning...More
This restaurant with adjacent patio is a great place to stop prior to going on to sporting events or theatre. The food is delicious and well presented, with a wide variety of choice. Their Lamb chops are magnificent, but then so too are their sliders...More
I have lived in downtown Detroit for the past 18 months. I can walk to all of the downtown restaurants, and I have tried over 40 at this point. The Detroit Food scene is incredible, and rivals any other city in the world. When you...More
Loved this restaurant! Two popular brew pubs were packed with lengthy wait times before the Tigers game. This place is right next door to one of them and had no wait so we decided to try it out. So glad we did! They have an...More
We had the beef sliders which were tender and juicy. The bun was a little chewy and added to the overall awesomeness of these little burgers. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese which was so flavorful. The cheese sauce was perfectly seasoned and...More
Not knowing much about Detroit, we found this via Trip Advisor and I’m glad that we did. Not an extensive menu, but a delicious one! Small plate items big enough to share so that you can sample. The staff is very friendly and the location...More
No one takes reservations on a night when there is a concert and a ball game. There was a long line but my husband and I like to sit at the bar once in a while so we opted for that. They appeared to clear...More
This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Last night, I attended a bachelorette party and we chose this restaurant based on it's internet reviews. We were greeted by an extremely rude server, who told us that the kitchen had ran...More

His name is Vince, and he is incredibly receptive to ideas. If you think there is a reward program that's worthwhile, let him know - he will definitely take your suggestion

Street parking is available most nights, right in front of the restaurant. Use the Parking App for Detroit, and you will have two hours to park - costs about $3. If no street parking, then there is parking in a clean, safe garage across the street at John R. and Centre Street (note you will have to circle the block as John R is one-way opposite from Small Plates). If not there, then there is also valet parking at the hotel next door, or in a small lot two blocks west on Broadway. Bottom line - this is the one place in Detroit where there is plenty of parking.
