If you are in Detroit area, this is a place to visit for Baklava and French style pastry. The Ice Cream is also very good. The place is nice and clean with ample parking and seating area. The Baklava is shipped to all over the USA from this shop and that is how I found out about it.

Baklava Baklava Baklava Cakes, pastries and ice cream YUM. Hands down, this is an awesome bakery. Typically take a number to get waited on and worth the wait.

My husband who is the word's most avid sweet lover was in heaven from the moment he walked in the door. He ordered multiple deserts for all of our party of 7 and we had a grand buffet. Oh my goodness, it was all delicious.

We just discovered Shatila on a trip to Michigan and are extremely impressed with the freshness and tastiness of their Lebanese sweets, in particular their baklavas which melt in your mouth. Definitely returning and would recommend to all that enjoy Middle Eastern sweets.

I have been a very big and vocal fan of Shatila for years. Every time I come to Detroit (on business), I make a point to visit Shatila for my dose of mixed baklawa (especially mini roses, burma, fingers and birds' nests), barazek and osmanlieh. Occasionally, I'll have other stuff also. If time allows me when I'm leaving town, I... More

If you are or not a desert's person you will love this place! Nice device , nice view and delicious desserts , French or Middle East style. Customer service was perfect; even had a drink made from sugar cane very rare to find in US. I can't wait to go back!

Our family loves Shatila! There are French pastries, Middle eastern baklava, ice cream, and coffee. Be sure to go at a time of day that isn't busy. We waited an hour to be served on the pastry end, but it was so worth the wait. The desserts are reasonably priced. The ice cream is good. I can't speak for the... More

The inside environment is amazing and the food displayed surely makes your mouth waters. The smell of the place invites you not only to taste the things you know, but also to try different things. Everything tastes fresh.

While the baked goods and treats are spectacular, expect to wait and be served by a surly, unfriendly, and bored worker. Don't forget to take a number or you will NEVER be waited on, and some people are taken ahead of you and you had better not say anything.
