I would have to say this place is a fair place to get a good lunch. The sandwiches they have all have fair portions of lunch meats.

Generally okay sandwiches but they aren't special and really the charm of this place is from how long it's been there. Veggie pita is terrible fyi

Very good eats. I did lunch with my family and also had Mati's cater a business lunch. Very well complimented by both. The deli is a bit small, so if the weather is not good, you may have to take it to go. If the weather is good, they have tables outside. Very good food! I hadn't been in a... More

Stopped in here with my boss to grab a sandwich and to take back to the office. Never been to the place before but had heard about it. Place was busy, so had to wait a little for our orders to be completed. Grabbed a Chicken Pita, and it was rather good. Also grabbed one of their big cookies, but... More

My wife and I take a lot of road trips and always look for local places to dine because we get tired of chain restaurants. We found this place on the internet and it's located in a neighborhood. It's nice to see that the locals from the neighborhood frequent this deli as the food and service are great.

Mati's had been on my list for quite awhile. I had been running some errands in Dearborn and wanted to pick up a sandwich before heading home. They have an extensive sandwich and salad menu. You can also create your own sandwich. I ended up half a hard salami on an onion roll with cheddar cheese. Sounds good, right? It... More

I loved these sandwiches! I work at Ford and casually asked my supervisor if he had been to Zingermanns @ Ann Arbor, he said that the sandwiches were fabulous but that this place was comparable for 1/3 pf the price of Zingermanns and that I should try them. Neddless to say, I tried these and fell in love! The Reuben... More

You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. Turkey Works and the Rueben's are the best. Award winning chocolate/cream cheese brownies are a must. Excellent staff. Most customers are regulars. Everyone is welcome. Meats, cheeses, cole slaw and potato salad available by the pound. Fresh crusty rye bread is also available by the loaf.

You have sandwiches and then you have sammiches. At Mati's, be prepared for the best sammich of you life. I had the Aaron's Bite (turkey, roast beef, cole slaw, Russian dressing, lettuce and tomato piled high on a nice crusty Rye). This sammich is HUGE and FANTASTIC! The house-made pickles are COLD, CRUNCHY and DEEELICIOUS! Get there early because the... More

This is the type of spot I search for on Trip Advisor. We were at the Ford Museum and wanted lunch. Looked on the site and found this great spot. The place is small and quaint and the food quality and quantity is really good. Price is fair and selection is excellent. We will be back.
