Just had the rudest, most disrespectful server ever. Service was extremely slow also. Waitstaff never served us, then when another person came he was very rude. We had to go find someone to cash us out when done.
Amazing sushi, and quick helpful service. Clean, friendly, and super fresh food! We ordered both raw and cooked rolls and both were phenomenal. The presentation was much better than other sushi restaurants we've tried.
Kabuki used to be a sushi staple in West Dearborn. They expanded to offer hibachi menu items with a live chef and it never quite panned out due to the actual chefs not staying there long enough. We did not give up on the place...because of that and tried the regular dining, at tables and the bar. I usually order sushi and my husband orders hibachi meals that are prepared in the kitchen. The food is typical hibachi fare, large portions, highly seasoned sauces - although a little too sweet for me on some of the dipping sauces. The sushi seems top notch. There is a nice bar area there too, and we have enjoyed getting to know one of the regular bartenders. Definitely try Kabuki out, they seem like they could also host big parties as the place is really big. The owner seems eager to please as well.More
Used to eat here a lot when they were in a smaller place in the late 2000's. Pleasantly surprised they have moved to a bigger place and now offering hibachi as well. Food remains great and fresh. I absolutely love their rolls and seaweed salad....This time I ordered a donkatsu obento (pork dish) and enjoyed it. Really happy they continue to offer great food at reasonable prices.More
We celebrated a family members birthday at Kabuki. I am not a Sushi lover so I chose a Hibachi Dinner and was pleased with the quality and quantity of my choice. The dinner included not only the meat/seafood selection but also soup, salad, appetizer, vegetables...and steamed rice. The flavors were good. Service was fine. I did find it on the pricey side, with Hibachi Dinners starting at $15 and going up from there. I would return but only for a special occasion.More
A comfortable walk from the Comfort Inn we had a nice dinner on the lighter side after eating a very heavy lunch at Greenfield Village's Eagle Tavern. We have a Kabuki in Cincinnati and were very familiar with the menu. The seaweed salad is a...nice start and sushi is a must even if you think that you don't like raw fish. Spicy tuna and California rolls are our favorite. The Hibachi grill is a fun experience but we also like the Tempura. This Kabuki location had a dance floor and DJ booth.More
